Scott got back home and parked the car, getting out and going in the house, seeing Ellie cooking. He went up to her and wrapped his arms around her from behind, kissing her neck. "Mornin', gorgeous."

"Morning." she chuckled as she leaned back into him. "Did you eat anything yet?"

"Good to know." she chuckled as she lowered the fire on the eggs and pancakes, then turned to face him. "You know...you were gone for a whole month and didn't even greet me properly yesterday. Well, before it all went downhill." she chuckled a little.

"Wouldn't have been." she snorted as she finished cooking his food and turned off the stove, putting his pancakes and eggs on a plate for him. "Here you go."

He set the plate down and pulled her back to him, kissing her again. Now that the house won't burn down, lol.
