Spending Time with their Daddy

"That's right." he smiled. "Maddie, did mommy pack medicine for me to give to Ajay?" he asked curiously as he started to scan through the bag.

"Yep!" she said as she went by the bag and looked through it with him. "It's in the front pocket."

"When was the last time he took his medicine?" he asked as he looked at the medicine bottle.

"Iuno." she shrugged. "I think before he took his nap at lunch time."

He nodded, grabbing his phone and texting Ellie. Hey, when was the last time Ajay took his medicine and how often does he need to take it?

Ellie was already back home, just watching tv when her phone went off. She read it and then replied to him. He took it in the morning and needs it again after he eats and before he goes to bed. He also has to take it in the morning when he wakes up.

He saved the text. Thanks. Will do. He texted her back. "Let me know when you guys are hungry, okay?"

"Okay." Maddie said excitedly.

"Daddy, I'm sleepy." Ajay said as he rubbed his eyes. "...nap?" he grinned.

He smiled at Ajay. "Alright...how about we all take a nap together? This way when we wake up, we all have a lot of energy for the park and then can get a yummy meal together." he offered. He was definitely down for a nap and he knew that the more Ajay slept, the sooner he would get better.

"Yes, nap." he giggled.

"But Daddy...I'm not sleepy." Maddie pouted...as she yawned. Child was sleepy.

AJ smiled as he grabbed his kids and put them on the bed. "Are you sure you're not sleepy?" he asked her. "Ajay and I are...and this bed is pretty comfy." he told her.

"Mhm, comfy." Ajay nodded as he snuggled into AJ.

"Uh...nooooo." she said as she rubbed her eyes.

He chuckled, holding Ajay close. "Hmm...I do happen to have your favorite night night movie if you want to watch it." he offered.

"Hm, okay fine." Maddie said as she laid down on the bed.

He smiled. "I'll be right back." he said as he grabbed one of Maddie's favorite movies and put it in the DVD player for them before getting back into the bed with the kids.

Ajay fell asleep a while ago and now Maddie....was getting there too. She let out a small yawn and rested her head on the pillow....finally falling asleep.

He smiled, yawning. He wasn't going to fall asleep until both of them were sound asleep.

"Not sleepy." Madison muttered...in her sleep, lol. Her breathing had evened out and she was knocked out.
