It's Time

Lacy was now nine months pregnant (World time) and pretty aggravated. She was as big as a house, the baby wouldn't stop kicking, and she was starting to have false alarms. Braxton Hicks, she thought they were call. So all of that stress made her a bit.. cranky. She tried to control her emotions, she hadn't been too bad during her pregnancy.

Now, she was in Phil's hotel room, questioning why she had decided to out when she should have stayed home so close to her due date.

Phil walked out from the bathroom after he finished taking a shower. He was pretty tired from his match earlier and just wanted to relax for a bit. "You alright?" he asked as he plopped down on the bed.

"I'm okay. The baby won't settle down."

He frowned a little. "I'm sorry." he said rubbing her belly.

"Me too." She chuckled before hissing lightly, holding her stomach. "Your kid is a hand full."

"So now he's my kid?" he asked amused. "Well...don't worry, he'll be out soon and then there will be no more kicking. Maybe you should try to get some rest or something."

She kept the grimace on her face. "Ive been trying to rest since I got here."

He looked at her worriedly. "You think maybe I should take you to the hospital or something?"

"No, it's fine." She kept her eyes closed.

"Are you sure?"

"I... don't know." She admitted with a nervous chuckle.

He chuckled with her. "We suck at this. Um...maybe we should go to get you checked out." he nodded.

As she moved to sit up, she felt her water break, and a hard contraction hit her. "Uh.. probably." She winced.

"Oh....shit. Okay...come on." he said as he helped her up.

She let him help her up. "Wow, this sucks." She chuckled softly, trying to find the humor in this when there really wasn't any.

He chuckled a little so he wouldn't freak out so much. "At least he won't be kicking much longer."

"Not inside of me, anyway." She started to walk through a contraction to the door.

"Um...don't you need stuff? Like um clothes or something?"

"I have a bag in the car, we've gotta get to the hospital."

"Okay, okay." he said grabbing his keys and heading out.

She braced herself on the wall as she walked with him to the car.

He picked her up and carried her to the car. "I figured it would be faster." he chuckled as he put her in the car and he got in as well, starting to drive off.

She rested her head against the window, placing her hand on her stomach, nervous as all hell. "I can't believe this is happening."

"Well he's coming...we can't do much."

"You're his dad, he'll listen to you. Tell him to stay in for another two weeks." She sighed as she frowned in pain through another contraction.
