Blast From The Past

"I need to talk to Lacy." He growled back.

"You have no business speaking to her." he told him. "And in about ten seconds, I'm going to make sure you never speak again."

"Try it, Brooks."

"Guys, please." Lacy begged.

"Lace, I love you, but I'm fucking murdering him. Back up."

"No baby, we can just go home and act like this didn't even happen." She placed her hands on his chest in an attempt to calm him.

"Yeah, listen to my woman." Roman smirked. "Walk away."

He smirked a bit to himself and nodded. He pulled Lacy in for a kiss and then he pulled away, moving her over to the side. Then he stepped up and punched Roman.

Roman stumbled back before charging for him and tackling him to the ground.

"Roman, STOP!" Lacy yelled out and went to grab his arm.

Punk started to punch away at him to defend himself and went to push him off of him. "Lacy, back away." he told her. He didn't want her getting hurt in case Roman hit her.

"If you don't stop, one of you is going to hit me so fucking STOP."

He pushed himself away from Roman and got up, not wanting to hurt Lacy. "GET THE FUCK OFF OF MY PROPERTY!"

"Rome, just go." she sounded close to tears.

Fine. He didn't want to upset her anymore than he already had. He got up and straightened his shirt. "You and I will talk, Lacy. Leave your bitch husband at home." He stormed out.

"You should have let me murder him."

She sighed in frustration. "Why did you have to hit him? I told you I could handle it."

"I wasn't going to let him keep talking to me like that."

"Phil, I had it under control." She said, frustrated.

"I helped speed up the process of making him leave."

"I had it handled." she said again.

"Yeah, he was really moving."

She sighed in frustration. "I'm leaving." She said as she rolled out of the ring.

"I'll see you later." he said as he decided to stay at the school instead.

She grabbed her jacket and purse from the office and left. They rode together, so she grabbed her metro card out of her wallet and took the train. Punk would realize that when he saw the car keys still at the desk. It was dark out but she could handle herself. Her mind was a little too occupied to be driving anyway. Her ride went without incident and she ended up passing her home to go to Ellie's house. She got off at the stop she was supposed to and transferred to another bus. She eventually ended up on Ellie's street and walked down to her house, holding her jacket tightly around her. It was getting pretty cold. She got to Ellie's doorbell and rang the doorbell.

Ellie had just finished putting the kids to bed when she heard the doorbell, she headed downstairs and opened the door. "Hi Lacy." she said. "Come on in, it's colder than your Mom's heart out there." she joked a little as she opened the door a little more so she could come in.

"Roman was at the school." Lacy sounded stressed as she walked into the house.

"What the? What the fuck for?" She frowned.

"He wanted to see me." She said. "And he sent me flowers and Phil got angry and ended up beating the shit out of a student." she shrugged her jacket off, plopping down on the couch and resting her head in her hands. "I just want this to be over but it seems like it's going to hang over our marriage for as long as we're together."
