She nodded. "Or maybe he's annoyed that I've been on him about not being romantic like he used to. I mean, I do feel bad that I was bothering him with that."

"You're not wrong for asking for more romance. You're supposed to call each other out when the other is slipping." she said. "Like, I just told Phil if he keeps piling up his laundry until the end of the month for me to do, then I'm probably gonna kill him in his sleep." she snorted.

She chuckled a little and nodded. "I mean, I never would have told him, but I did have to be open with him and tell him how I felt. Maybe I'm just overreacting or something." she brushed it off. "He's already got enough on his plate with his Mom."
