The doctor nods. "We just got done examining her knee and doing a few scans, it appears as if she's torn her ACL and a few ligaments."

"So surgery is required?"

The doctor nodded. "As soon as possible.. our next opening is for tomorrow."

"She might be a little out of it from the pain killers we gave her but only you can see her for now." He said looking at Shannon and Mimi as if to tell them to leave.

Phil nods and follows the doctor.

The doctor leads Phil to Lacy's room and opens the door for him letting him walk in.

"Let's see. I drove here like a mad man, doctor said I needed to be related to you and I lied, I'm your fiance if he asks." he chuckled.
