Injured Hardy

Ellie opened her eyes and groaned a bit, as she felt a throbbing pain in her head. She looked around the room and noticed that she wasn't home. She also noticed that she was hooked up to an IV and was in a hospital bed.

She started to sit up, but felt herself being pushed back down on the bed lightly.

"Lie down, you have to rest." Matt said.

"Why? What's wrong with me?" she said looking at him.

"Actually, how did I even end up in here? I don't remember coming in here."

"I drove you here after you knocked yourself out at the store." Matt said.

"Knocked myself out?" she asked a bit confused.

"In the toys store. Don't you remember? Oh my god you got amnesia!" Matt yelled.

She looked at him and raised and eyebrow.

"Oh calm down."

"I can't calm down, you have amnesia! Okay let me first tell you that I'm your older brother Matt...and you worship me." Matt said with a smirk.

"I do?" she asked puzzled.

"Wait, are you Matt?"

"Yes I am and you love to torture Jeff, he's your older brother too. You also like to do whatever I tell you to do." Matt said.

She looked at him and punched him in the arm.

"Nice try."

Matt groaned.

"I was hoping that would work." Matt muttered.

"Well it didn't." she said sitting up.

"So what is wrong with me exactly?"

"You have a concussion but it's not severe." Matt said.

"So I'm fine?"

"Yeah you should be okay." Matt said with a smile.

"Really? So I can go home? Wait...I can wrestle right?"

"You can't wrestle for a week." Matt said.

She groaned and was about to reply when the doctor came in.

"Well hello Ellie. It's been two days, glad to see your awake." she greeted.

"Two days?" she asked amused and looking at Matt.

"Yeah, you've taken a pretty bad hit to the head."

She chuckled.

"And from your xrays, it looks like you've done some damage and you need to be on bed rest for two weeks."

"But Matt said I was fine." she explained.

"I only told your brother that so that he would stop worrying." she chuckled.

Matt looked at the doctor.

"You lied to me!" Matt yelled.

He pulled his cell phone out.

"Well not that I know this new information I have to make some calls." Matt said.

"Who are you calling?" she asked.

"Vince, I told him you weren't going to be able to wrestle for a week now I have to tell him it will be two weeks." Matt said.

The doctor looked at Matt.

"Actually. It'll be about two months. Once she's done with the bed rest, she's going to need to recover and that means no physical activity. She will be cleared to start training in a month."

"You know you could have told me this before." Matt said.

"Sorry sir. But you were just too concerned and worried, so I tried to calm you down. I wanted to tell you everything when your sister was awake."
