Bad News [Ellie/AJ]

He was shocked by her outburst, but could he blame her? She'd been through a lot.

"You don't know me very well do you?" he chuckled a little. "Ellie...like I said, just because they said it'd be hard doesn't mean you can't ever have children. And...I don't want anyone else. I want you...and if you can't have children...then I'm definitely up for adopting a little baby boy or girl that is in need of loving parents." he smiled softly.

"But I'm not going to be a coward and run out on you just because one thing doesn't go my way." he said sincerely. "A relationship is give and take...compromise...if you really love someone, you see it through with them...through the good times...and the bad times." he said, kissing her forehead.

"So...can you let ME decide whether I think you're damaged goods before you try and push me out of your life?"

She looks at him and gives him a small smile.

"You're not supposed to be so understanding." she muttered as she hugged him tightly and put her head on his shoulder.

He chuckled at her reaction and he held her tightly. "Hey, shit happens...that's life." he smiled. "and you are not damaged goods...understand?"

"I guess it's understood." she shrugs.

He continued to hold her close. "I wish you would called me right away...I would have found a way to be here for you...to be here with you this whole time." he said softly.

"you should know by now that you'll never have to go through this kind of thing alone anymore...I'm here with you."

As she heard him talk, she couldn't help but to be amazed by him. He truly was there for here unlike her ex and she definitely thought that AJ was the one for her. He was so understanding and would do anything for her, and vice versa. She couldn't be any happier to hear him say those words to her. Scared to even say it to him, she knows she loves him.

"I'm sorry. I was just scared." she admitted.

"Scared? That I'd reject you? I'd never...ever do that to you." he promised as he pulled her close and kissed her passionately.

"If I rejected you...that means you'd be out of my life...and I'd never want that...ever."

She smiled at that and held onto him.

"I wouldn't want that either. I really care a lot about you."

"I care a lot about you too...because...I...I love you Ellie." he said softly as he continued to hold her.

She pulled away from him and looked at him, a huge smile forming on her face.

"Y-you do?" she asked surprised.

"I love you too." she grinned.

He nodded, a bit unsure until she returned the sentiment. "I'm so happy." he grinned as he kissed her deeply.

"I realized it...when I couldn't see you or get a hold of you for the past 3 days...I can't live without being with you...without being near you. I love you, Ellie..."

"Aw, Allen." she smiled.

"I can't be without you. I'm always thinking or talking about you and I get butterflies in my stomach everytime. You've truly made me happy." she grinned.

"I'm glad." he said kissing her forehead.

"Besides...I see a plus side to your so-called problem...we can make love wherever and whenever we want...and no protection." he laughed a little.

She laughed a little at that.

"I guess that is a plus side."

"So...when do you think you're gonna be able to come back to work? I told them you have swine flu." he chuckled.

"Thanks for that." she chuckles.

"Um, I don't know. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow. I need to beat on somebody to take all my anger out."

"Take all the time you need." he smiled. "Just...make sure you call me once in a while okay?"

"I'll make sure to call you everyday." she smiles.

"You know, you always know what to say to make me feel better." she said lacing their hands together.

He smiled lovingly as he kissed her hand. "Alright...but as for now...you're not kicking me out until tomorrow." he winked.

"Wanna go up and take a nice, long bubble bath?" he offered.

"That sounds like heaven." she smiled softly.

He smiled. "Good." he said as he got up. "Umm...I've never actually been here so you'll have to show me where to go."

She chuckled as she stood up.

"Well then you get a grand tour. Of course, this is the living room." she said grabbing his hand and leading him around.

"Then the kitchen is over there." she shrugged as she passed it and lead him upstairs.

"Guest room is on the left and my room is here." she said as she entered.

"Bathroom is in here too." she chuckled.

"Now which room am I staying in?" he asked innocently.

"The guest room." she joked, then chuckled.

"No, you're staying in here, with me."

He pouted until she said she was kidding. "Oh..." he laughed.

"I'll get the bath ready."
