A Pretty Drastic Change (Jeff and Candice)

"Oh yes..." he chuckled. "So...you were working on some wedding details before my distraction?" he smirked.

"Mhmm...I'm trying to find our song for the reception." She chuckled.

"For our first dance?" he asked to make sure.

She nodded. "I like too much music." She joked.

"You're preaching to the choir." he laughed. "Well do you want more of a ballad or something a bit more upbeat? Do you want a traditional wedding style song or somethign a bit more unconventional?"

"I was thinking more of a ballad 'cause our first dance should be kind of romantic." She sighed. "It's frustrating because I like a lot of love songs."

"Hmmm...how about...we ponder this up in bed where I can hold you?" he asked with a soft smile.

She beamed. "I like that idea."

He picked her up bridal style and started up the stairs for their bedroom. "I gotta practice for the wedding night...speaking of...where are we spending that?"

"Here? We can spend our first night as husband and wife in our home? Or we could find some fancy hotel?" She chuckled. "Either works for me, as long as I'm with you."

"Same here." he grinned. "Maybe we should spend it at a hotel so we can the airport pretty soon after to make it to the honeymoon. I'll make sure Matt or Shannon or someone takes care of the dogs while we're gone." he chuckled. "How long did we want for a honeymoon? A week?"

"Considering our jobs that's probably as long as we're allowed." Candice nodded. "And okay, a hotel it is."

He got to their bedroom and laid her down on the bed and kissed her lovingly before joining her and holding her close. "Mmm...so...wedding song options...let's narrow it down first and then go from there."

"I just want a song that really fits us." Candice said. "I've been leaning towards 'When You Kiss Me' by Shania Twain, 'More than Anyone' by Gavin DeGraw, 'In My Arms' by Ray Lamontagne or 'I Could Not Ask For More' by Edwin McCain."

"Hmmm..." he said thinking about it himself.

"Those are all really good." he chuckled. "I was gonna go the cheesy route...and I was gonna suggest "All I Ask of You" from "Phantom of the Opera"....and yes I like musicals." he laughed.

"Ooh, I like that song too. Ah now it's even harder to choose." Candice chuckled.

"You choose baby...because while we're dancing I won't even hear the music...I'll be too busy looking at you."

Candice blushed. "That's very sweet."

"and it's very true." he smiled. "And we're writing our own vows right?"

Candice nodded. "I thought it might mean more if we did it that way."

"Just makign sure." he said softly. "And what about the actual wedding rings...we still need to pick those out, don't we?"

"Yeah, we need to pick them out. Should we go look for them tomorrow? Are you free?" She asked.

He nodded. "I am actually...where'd you wanna go to look at them?"

"Don't freak, but we only get married once, so I was thinking Tiffany's." She said.

"I'm not gonna freak...it's not like we're exactly suffering for money baby." he chuckled.
