Expressions of Love (Jeff&Candice)

Candice giggled up at Jeff. "Well, you were too irresistible for me to contain myself."

He blushed a little. "Oh really?"

Candice laughed. "Really." She assured him.

He carried her into his bedroom and laid her down on his bed. "Did you want anything? Are you hungry at all? I mean...we kind of worked off whatever we ate." he said chuckling.

"Mhm...what did you have in mind?" She asked.

"Well...I'm not a master chef...but I can make some spagetthi or some good ol' mac and cheese or something along those lines. What would my princess prefer to eat?" he asked, moving some hair away from her face.

"Mac and cheese is my guilty pleasure, well, besides you." She laughed. "Want help? Or company?"

"I don't need help but I'd always love company." he said smiling as he kissed her again.

"Wanna keep me company dressed? Or do you wanna stay like this? Either way I don't mind...though the mac and cheese might end up being burned if you go like this." he said winking.

Candice laughed. "I'll put some clothes on." She said, getting off the bed to pull on a t-shirt and a pair of lounge pants. "There, better?"

"Only for the cooking process." he said winking as he picked her up to carry her downstairs.

Candice leaned up and kissed his cheek. "You make me feel like a princess whenever you do this."

"Because you are my princess." he said smiling as he gently set her down on his kitchen counter.

"Well, I'm only a princess for you." She laughed crossing her legs as she sat on the counter. "I'm a Diva to everyone else."

He laughed as he started getting his stuff together. "That's fair." he said smiling.

Candice smiled. "Well if someone else tried to carry me everywhere, I probably wouldn't like it as much."

"Well good...because I like carrying you." he said as he started to get the pasta he was going to use out.

Candice smiled. "Can I ask why? It can't be the easiest way for you to move around." she said.

"Uh...you're gonna think it's a bit cheesy." he said scratching at the back of his head.

Candice smiled. "Tell me. I love cheesy in moderate doses!"

"Because I like having you that close to me...where I can pretty much feel your heartbeat if I stop and hold you a certain way...and you can hear my heart beating a certain way. It beats differently whenever you're nearby...that, and I like taking care of you." he admitted.

Her heart all but melted in her chest. "Jeff." She hopped off the counter and into his arms, kissing him lovingly. "That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me."

He kissed her back just as lovingly. "Really? Well that's a shame...because you deserve so much more." he said against her lips.

"Jeff," She breathed against him. "I love you so much. I can officially say you're the best thing to ever happen to me."

"I love you too...with everything that I am and more..." he said kissing her again.

"You are easily the best thing that's ever happened to me...I love you..."

She clung to him, kissing him with everything she had. "I love you too."
