"Well she wasn't the only reason to make me go into labor early. For now, don't worry. I'm fine, Madison is fine and that's all I can ask for." she smiled. "So let it go for now." she chuckled.

"Trust me, I can't wait to go home either." she replied with a small yawn.

He chuckled. "Tired?" he asked, though he knew she was probably exhausted.

"Alright everyone...I've gotta take the little one to the nursery...and momma needs her rest." the nurse came and said. "So you can all come back tomorrow." she said, taking Madison.

"Don't worry...you've got mommy priviledges...after your sleep, you can come to the nursery and spend all the time in the world with her." the nurse assured.

"May I stay?" AJ asked. He felt weird going home alone.

"Who are you, sir?"

"I'm the baby's father...I'm Ellie's fiance." he said proudly.

"Thank you..." AJ smiled as he sat in the chair beside Ellie and they watched the nurse take Madison out. "How you feeling?" he asked, moving some hair away from Ellie's face.
