Running Into Each Other [AJ/Ellie]

Ellie was backstage at the Smackdown/ECW tapings for the night. She had a match and was already dressed since she had arrived early and actually decided to get ready early, just throwing on a hoodie over her top.

She was texting someone as she was walking down the hallway, just killing some time.

AJ was ready for the ECW/Smackdown tapings. He had a match so he was dressed. The show hadn't started yet and he was in the main event and in a segment before so he had a little bit of time to kill. He put the hood of his vest over his head.

As he walked, he wasn't really paying attention and he bumped into someone, dropping his belt on his foot. "Ow!"

Ellie ended up falling on the floor and dropped her phone. She bit her lip as she heard the person drop something as well. Grabbing her phone and getting ready to stand up, she went to grab the person's belt and noticed it had the ECW logo on the front.

Quickly, she looked up and saw AJ. Immediately, she smiled.

"AJ?" she grinned.

Then she panicked.

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay? I knew I shouldn't have been on my phone and walking at the same time. Is your foot okay? Do you need anything?"

HE winced but smiled warmly when he saw her. "Hey you." he said looking her up and down. Damn...she looked good.

"I'm fine, Ellie, really." he assured, picking up his belt and putting it back over his shoulder. "You look...wow..."

"Okay." she nods.

Then she blushed.

"Oh, um. T-thank you." she said as she took in his appearance as well.

He looked fineeeeeeee she thought to herself.

"Uh, you don't look so bad yourself." she grins.

He blushed a bit, grinning. "Thanks." he said, scratching the back of his head.

"You're welcome." she smiles.

"So um, you've got a match tonight?" she asked.

She thinks about it.

"Well obviously, duh." she chuckles.

"Uh who are you fighting?"

He chuckled at how cute she was. "I'm fighting a new guy after doing a segment with Punk." he nodded.

"What about you? Whose ass are you totally gonna kick?"

"Oh well I'm fighting Nikki Bella." she shrugs.

"That's easy for me." she joked.

"you could probably kick anyone's butt."

She smiles.

"Probably." she joked.

"The same for you though. I mean you're the champ now."

"Yeah well it's a lot easier to get to the top then it is to stay at the top." he smiled. "Good luck though...be safe." he said as he pulled her close and kissed her forehead before kissing her lips deeply.

Jeff was walking with Shannon backstage. He didn't have a match that night. He had a promo but that was all. They were talking and Jeff froze for a second. It was his baby sister Ellie...and she was kissing someone...AJ Styles?

Ellie smiled into the kiss as she kissed him back with the same amount of passion.

Shannon looked over to see what Jeff was staring at and saw Ellie.

"Uh, since when is she with AJ?"

He pulled away smiling at her.

Jeff shrugged. "I dunno...but let's go find out." he smirked a bit as they approached the happy couple.

"Hey guys!" he grinned.

AJ jumped a little. "Oh, hey Jeff....Shannon." he greeted.

"So...when did you two start dating?"

She smiled back at AJ as Jeff and Shannon approached them. Ellie cringed. Yeah, she kind of forgot to tell Jeff about this.

"Oh hey Jeff." she looked over at Shannon. "Nerd."

"Hey!" he pouts.

Ellie shakes her head in amusement, then puts her attention back on Jeff as he asked them a question.

"Ummmm..." she froze. She wasn't too sure if they were dating or what. Regardless, she answered.

"About a week." she said.

AJ was a bit nervous. Yeah, he was cool with Jeff, but still...Jeff was Ellie's older brother and he knew they were probably close.

"Uh...yeah, about a week."

"What happened with that Brad guy?" Jeff asked, confused.

"Oh Brad, he broke up with me." she shrugged.

"So why didn't you tell me about you and AJ? A phone call would have been nice." Jeff quirked.

AJ felt a bit awkward now. "Maybe I should let you two talk?"

She rolled her eyes at Jeff.

"I was going to tell you in person." she chuckles.

Then she looked over at AJ.

"No, it's fine." she smiles.

AJ nodded, though he still felt a bit awkward.

"So you were too busy to tell me?"

"I was not too busy, I was just kind of postponing telling you." she admits.

"Why would you postpone telling me? you afraid of my reaction or something?"

She bit her lip and saw...no, felt that AJ was feeling awkward so she smiles and then grabs Jeff by the arm, moving them away for a bit.

"Yes. I didn't know exaclty how you were going to react to this. I know that you and AJ are kind of cool with each other and I didn't know if you would be upset that I'm seeing him."

"Why would I be upset? I'm only upset because you didn't tell me." he said with a slight pout. "As long as you're happy though...I'm happy."

"You're such a big baby." she chuckles.

"Either way, you will be happy because I am very happy." she smiles.
