Suddenly Ill [AJ/Ellie]

Ellie was waiting for her music to come on so she could make her way out to the ramp. All she wanted to do was get the match done and over with. She hadn't been feeling very well lately; constantly feeling dizzy, throwing up, being moody and tired all the time. Sighing she adjusted her outfit [ http://kellyimgs.org/displayimage.php?album=325&pos=0 ] and heard her music. She felt dizzy, but let it pass and made her way out.

"And the opponent from Cameron, North Carolina, Ellie Hardy!" she heard them announce.

She stepped out onto the stage and squinted her eyes a bit as the lights were too bright and vision blurred. Trying to shake it off, she started to walk but quickly found it was hard to do as she felt dizzy once again and felt herself sweating and going pale. She took in a couple of deep breaths, but it didn't help as she fainted.

The crowd gasped and her music was cut off as Nikki ran from the ring, breaking character to see what was going on, then checked on her as crew came out.

AJ was backstage and wanted to check out Ellie's match. He went behind the curtain and peeked out but his smile immediately faded as he saw her on the ramp. He didn't care who saw him. He ran out to where she was to see what happened. He looked up at Nikki as he gently started to hold Ellie.

"What happened?"

Nikki shook her head and looked at AJ sympathetically.

"I don't know. One minute, she was fine and the next, she just passed out." she said in a worried tone as medics came out.

"We need to take her to the back." they said as they brought out a stretcher.

He nodded, laying her on the stretcher. "I'm going with you."

They nodded and loaded her up onto the stretcher, bringing her to the back.

He held on to Ellie's hand as they got to the back.

They made it to the back.

"We need to check on her AJ, we need her alone for a few minutes and we'll let you in after." the medic said.

[What?! Grrrrrr...*glares and fixes that* It says I'm on...lol.]

He wasn't too sure how comfortable he was with that. "Fine...but let me in as soon as possible." he said softly.

"We will." they said as Nikki said she was going to talk to Tiffany and left as well.

AJ sat down in the waiting area and tried his best to be patient.

After about a good forty five minutes, they had managed to wake her up and check her out. They found out what exactly was wrong with her and she couldn't help but to be shocked. She couldn't believe it. There was no way she thought it was possible, but she was wrong, it was.

After letting the shock sink in and listening to the medics give her instructions on what to do, she nodded and laid back down as they went out and told AJ he could go in, and they would give them some time together.

AJ went in after what felt like hours had passed by. He was relieved to see that Ellie was alright. "Hey...so what happened?" he asked worriedly as he sat with her.

"Hey." she sighed.

"Oh...well I had some bad chinese food the other night and I've been sick since then. Throwing up, dizzy spells, all that." she told him.

"On top of that, I wasn't able to eat anything since I felt so horrible and I guess lack of food and working out so much just finally caught up to me." she said feeling bad about lying, but hoping he'd believe it.

He sighed. "Ellie...you need to eat better..." he said worriedly. "Think you can handle some soup or anything like that tonight?" he asked softly, worriedly.

He bought it and she was so happy that he did.

"I'll try." she nods.

"I'm sorry about worrying you."

"It's okay...just be more careful..." he said softly, kissing her forehead.

"I promise, I'll be more careful." she smiled.

"Did you have a match?" she asked, feeling bad now.

"I don't want you getting in trouble if you did."

He shook his head. "I didn't have anything tonight...and as long as you're okay, that's all that matters." he smiled, kissing her forehead.

She smiled faintly.

"Alright, good. I didn't want Tiffany coming over here yelling at you." she chuckled.

"Don't worry, she won't." he smiled. "So...off to the hotel we go?" he said softly.

"Maybe I should get some soup or something from catering first, before we go. At least have something in my stomach or I'll pass out again."

"Okay..." he said softly, helping her up so they could walk together.

She stood up slowly and held onto him as they started to walk.

"Now don't forcefeed yourself...and if you're feeling sick, let me know." he said firmly.

"Okay, I will." she promised.
