Testing a Theory [Conner/Ashley]

She looked at him and shook her head.

"Absolutely nothing." she said dryly.

[lol...i love it though. I wanna smack him, but then I know Ashley will be like again again!...lol.]

"Well alright then." he said as he pulled his boxers back on and then his pants. "Do you know where I left my shirt?" he asked looking around.

[[and then we can just have them run into each other again and again....for lots of drama~~~~]]

She shrugged.

"I don't know, look around." she said as she stood up and went to the bathroom, slamming the door in the process. As she stood against the door, she bit her lip, she actually likes this little game.

[haha. Yes! I love the sound of that.]

"Okay." he shrugged and then watched her go to the bathroom. Was she mad? Oh well. He found his shirt and put it back on. He wasn't rude so he simply knocked on the bathroom door.

"It was nice meeting you." he said genuinely before running his hands through his hair once and leaving Ashley's room.

[[now what? lol]]

"Uh yeah same." she called out.

[hmmm...maybe we can make it like a few hours later and they bump into each other again?]

He left the room and started down the hall to the elevator to go to his own room.

[[like maybe in the lobby bar that night?going for drinks? perhaps some drunken sex? XDDD]]

Ashley ran a hand through her hair and decided to take a shower. She was going to go out for a drink tonight, she desperately needed one.

[hmmmm...yes that sounds good...lol.]

When he got to his room, he checked his texts and voicemails. It wasn't anything important. He hit the bathroom for a ncie, long, hot shower and then he'd take a quick nap before hitting the bar down stairs in the lobby.

....A Couple of Hours Later....

Ashley was dressed in a black cocktail dress that fit her curves nicely. The dress was just a little tight. Making her way to the bar, with her small wallet in her hand, she sat down and ordered herself a drink.

"Vodka on the rocks please." she asked the bartender as he nodded and went to prepare her drink.

Conner got ready and got to the bar. He was wearing a nice pair of jeans that fit his lower half very well and had a few strategic tears. He wore a plain white v-neck t-shirt with a black blazer over it and he headed to the bar, not knowing Ashley was there too. He pulled up to a stool.

"Hey...bar tender...how about some service?" he said tapping the bar. When the bartender got to him, he ordered his drink. "Crown Royal on the rocks." he ordered and got his drink.

She looks over at him and chuckles.

"Thirsty?" she said retrieving her drink and paying for it as she took a sip.

He turned and chuckled. "Well...fancy meeting you here." he said as he took his drink and paid for it.

"I would say the same, but this is a hotel and mostly everyone is staying here."

"True." he shrugged. "You look nice tonight...trying to impress someone?" he smirked a little as he sipped his drink.

She rolled her eyes playfully.

"You wish, but no. Just decided to get all fancied up for a change." she said looking over his attire.

"What about you? Impressing the ladies?" she asked taking another sip.

He chuckled. "I don't think you'd be that lucky." he smirked.

"Maybe...there are some nice looking ladies tonight...just gotta make eye contact and the rest is cake." he said, oozing confidence.

She laughed.

"Aw, so it's that easy?"

"Worked on you, didn't it?" he smirked.

She smirked.

"Alright, you've got a point."

"I know I'm right." he said sipping his drink more.

"Yes sir." she said finishing her drink and ordering another one.

He downed the rest of his drink and ordered another one as well. "So...you're really not pissed that I up and left like that?" he asked curiously.

She shrugged.

"Not really, I mean I wasn't expecting much in the first place." she said retrieveing her other drink.

"Well that definitely puts you in a good place in my book." he grinned.

"Well then I must be glad to be a part of it?"
