Christmas Together

It was Christmas and the kids were all types of excited to open their gifts. Well, the rest of them anyway. Madison got a princess dress from "Santa" and was wearing it around the house, crown and all. Ajay had a rocking horse that he loved and didn't want to get off of. Ellie had invited Jeff and Candice to come over if they wanted to spend the holiday together, especially since Candice was back.

AJ was busy taking video and pictures of the kids while also playing with the new puppy they got. It was seriously the best Christmas he'd had in a long while. "When are Candice and Jeff getting here, baby?" he asked as he picked up the puppy.

Ellie looked over at AJ and shrugged. "Well I texted Candice, she was laying down for a little because she wasn't feeling well, but she said they should be here in about ten minutes or so." she said.

"Daddy..." Madison said as she patted his arm. "Look, I'm a Princess." she said twirling around in her dress.

AJ nodded. "Alright...maybe we should have some kind of soup ready...if she's feeling sick." he pointed out before looking down. "I know...Princess Madison." he grinned. "And as princess you can name the puppy. What do you wanna name it?"

Jeff was driving him and Candice to Ellie and AJ's place. He was a little worried since she felt under the weather but she still wanted to come. He parked in front of their house. "You sure you're up for this?" he asked, concerned.

She grinned at him calling her Princess Madison. "Hmmm, I like the name Ardey." she nodded.

"Oh, smart thinking." Ellie said as she stood up from the floor. "Just watch Ajay on that thing." she chuckled as she went to make some soup.

"Yes Jeff, I'm fine." Candice smiled. "Besides, we have to give Madison and Ajay their gifts and I finally have to meet Ajay."

"Excellent choice." he grinned before nodding. "I've been watching him." he assured as Ajay continued to rock back and forth. "You know you're gonna have to get off that thing, eventually son." he laughed as Ajay laughed with him.

Jeff just nodded. "Alright but if you really feel sick, let me know." he told her seriously as they grabbed the gifts for the kids as well as a gift for AJ and Ellie.

"You're gonna get sick Ajay." Maddie giggled.

"Noooo." Ajay said as he shook his head.

"Yes dear." Candice chuckled as she helped him grab the gifts.

AJ just laughed as he set the puppy down because he looked like he wanted to go to sleep. "Ajay, don't you want to play with your other toys?"

Jeff grabbed most of the stuff and they headed to the door.

"No, I like horsie Dada." he told him.

"...can I have his toys then, Daddy?" Maddie asked innocently.

Ellie went to open the door for Jeff and Candice, since she heard them walking up the front steps. "Hey guys, Merry Christmas." she smiled, letting them in.

"Maddie, those are Ajay's toys. You got just as many of your own." he smirked at her. "Hey your uncle Jeff and aunt Candice are here. Aunt Candice isn't feeling too good...why don't you give her a big hug?" he told Maddie as he decided to just skip the nice part and picked Ajay up off the horse to greet his aunt and uncle. "Hey guys...Merry Christmas." he smiled.

Jeff smiled, hugging his sister. "Hey Ellie." he smiled. "Hey AJ...hi Maddie! You look pretty!" he grinned.

Ajay sulked as he was taken off his horsie. "Dada...." he pouted.

"Fineeee." Maddie said as she went by Jeff and Candice. "I knowwww, I Princess Madison." she giggled as she hugged Candice. "Hi Auntie."

Candice laughed a little after she greeted Ellie and AJ. "Hello Princess Madison."

"I'm glad you guys could make it."

"Just say hi to your aunt and uncle. They have more stuff for you and your sister." he smiled down at his son. He smiled at Madison. "Hey guys...Candice, meet Ajay." he grinned. "Ajay, this is your aunt Candice."

Jeff nodded. "You need help with anything, sis?"

"Aw, hi Ajay." Candice smiled. "He is so much cuter in person." she said as Ajay went with her, so she could hold him. "Oh dear AJ, he looks like Ellie." she laughed a bit.

"Uh, of course he does. I needed one of my children to look like me." she laughed. "Nope, I'm good Jeff. I made some soup for Candice though, so she can eat something."

"I know...it's why he's so cute." he smirked, glad Ajay was taking to Candice well.

"Aww thanks, Ellie." Jeff grinned.

Ellie laughed a bit at AJ and nodded at Jeff. "No problem. AJ was the one with the bright idea."

"Thanks El, I'll make sure to have some later." Candice nodded. "Baby, give the kids their gifts." she told Jeff.

"Gifts?" Maddie grinned.

AJ nodded. "Of course...sorry about you feeling sick, Candice." he frowned.

Jeff grabbed the presents and set them down. "Presents for you and Ajay."

"It's alright." Candice said as she put Ajay down so she could help him open his gifts. "We bou---I mean Santa bought him some musical instruments." she said.

Madison opened her gift and gasped. "Mommy! I got a computer." she grinned.

"It's the learning one for kids, since I know she's starting school soon."

Ellie nodded. "She sure is, thank you."

"Thank you Uncle Jeff and Candice!" Maddie grinned.

"Oh god...did santa get earplugs for Ellie and Me?" he joked.

Jeff laughed. "I wanted Ajay to be able to express himself artistically."

"I'll be sure to drop him off at your house when he wants to play with them." Ellie joked.

Candice laughed. "Hey, we'd be okay with that. I know I'm used to Jeff having his jam sessions in the house."

AJ smirked. "Baby, you're a genius~"

Jeff smiled. "I'll add Ajay to the next album."

"I try." Ellie laughed.

"He'll be just like his Uncle." Candice laughed. "Oh, I have gifts for everybody else, even you Jeff." she smiled.

"Aww thanks guys." AJ grinned. "Baby, why don't you go get the gift we got for Jeff and Candice too?"

"No problem...and you didn't have to get us anything."

"Nonsense Jeff, we had to." Ellie said as she went to get their gifts.

Jeff went inside with Candice so she could sit down and Aj let Ajay play with his toys.

Ellie came back down with their gifts. "Okay guyssss, here you go. Now...don't go too crazy." Ellie joked.

(meh, we'll say they got Jeff some painting tools and a canvas and such....and for Candice....well...idk, she got like a scrapbook lol)
