Early Christmas

Shannon had decided to go by his girlfriend's house because well...he had a Christmas gift for her. He wasn't sure if she'd be with family during the holiday, so he figured he would catch her before the upcoming holiday. He went up the steps of her front porch and rang the doorbell, waiting for her to answer.

Mimi was cleaning around her house when the doorbell rang. She was wearing a pair of sweats with a cut off tank top and she went to go answer the door. "Ye-- oh! Oh. Hi," she chuckled at him, embarrassed that she answered the door looking like crap. lol.

Shannon laughed a little and nodded in greeting. "Hi." he said. "Can I uh, come in?"

"Um... yeah, sure." She stepped aside to let him in and tried to fix her hair in the process.

He stepped inside and chuckled a little. "Cleaning?"

"Uh, yeah," she chuckled nervously. "If I would have known you were coming over I would have made myself look a little nicer."

"I think you still look great." he said as he wrapped his arms around her.

She blushed a little and put her arms around his neck. "Thanks. Hi." She chuckled a little as she gave him a kiss. "What brings you by?"

"Oh well, I have something for you." he told her.

"Really?" She asked, looking genuinely surprised.

"Yeah." he nodded. "I mean it's lingerie..." he joked to see her reaction.

She blinked. "What? Shannon, I can't-- what?"

He laughed a little and kissed her forehead. "I'm kidding. Nah, but I figured since Christmas is around the corner...and I wasn't sure what you'd be doing, that I would give you your gift earlier."

"Shannon." She pouted gently. "Don't make me feel like a bad girlfriend. I have no idea what kind of things to buy you, you don't have to buy me anything."

"Well I wanted to." he said as he gave her the bag with her gift in it. "Go ahead and open it."

She opened her gift and gasped. "Whoa... Shannon..."

"I figured it would be something you would like."

"It's... wow." She laughed a little and gave him a kiss. "Thank you."

He returned her kiss. "You're very welcome. Here, let me put it on you."

"Yeah, it'll make this outfit I have on look really glamorous." She laughed a little as she handed him the necklace and turned around.

"It'll make you look somewhat decent." he teased with a chuckle as he put it on her.

She turned around to face him after he put the necklace on. "Do you like it?"

"I do." he said. "It looks great on you."

"Shan, this must have cost so much money...," she said, now feeling guilty.

"Don't worry about it." he said. "It's worth it."
