Another Cabin Excursion (AJ/Ellie)

This was pretty big for AJ and Ellie. This would be the first time they would have a few days of alone time since Ajay was born. Not only that, AJ was soon to be cleared to compete again which meant a hellish travel schedule all over again. And then with the big fight they had before his accident...they knew they loved each other but things still seemed...off. This trip would be to help get them back as a couple. They'd have five days alone and AJ couldn't have been happier. He loved his kids, he really did, but he wanted time with his wife.

He pulled up in front of the familiar cabin they rented. "Here we are...boy doesn't this bring up memories?" he chuckled as he got out of the car.

Ellie chuckled a bit as she got out of the car and looked at the cabin. It still looked the same. She was....excited to have some time away from the kids and the madness for a bit. She had been helping AJ recover, plus taking care of the kids, then Lacy got into her accident, so she had been spending time at Phil's place helping him out a bit and taking their kids out for a bit. She was kind of stress out. "It sure does." she chuckled. "I remember being a big baby." she joked.

"Funny I remember that too." he teased. "And I remember the most uncomfortable sleep I ever had...then again I remember being a giant chicken shit too." he laughed as he got their bags out of the car.

"Such a lovely couple we were." she laughed as she helped him take the bags out.

"Yup...but this time...it'll be different." he smiled at her.

"Good, I'm glad." she smiled back. "Ready to head in?"

He nodded as they headed inside.

Once they went inside, she looked around. "It still looks the same."

"Weird...but I like it." he laughed. They had brought their own food so they wouldn't have to go out too much. "Just gonna put stuff in the kitchen first." he nodded.

"Okay. I'll put my stuff upstairs then." she said as she headed up to where the rooms were.

He nodded as he began to unpack the food.

Once she went to the room, she put her bags down and then took off her jacket and all that to settle in. She then headed downstairs to see if AJ needed any help. "Got everything?"

"Yup...now nothing is gonna spoil." he laughed.

"Good." she chuckled. "The last thing we need is to get sick while we're away."

"Yup..." he smiled at her. "So...now what?" he smirked a bit.

"Now....we sleep.'' she grinned. "Cause I'm sleeeeepy." she joked.

"Oh, alright then. You know where the bedroom is." he challenged.

"Mhm, I sure do." she said. "How will you entertain yourself in the meanwhile?" she smirked.

"Mmm...I plan on maybe taking a nice, long, hot shower to start...then go from there." he said as he began to undress as he went up to the bathroom.

She glared slightly. Ugh, he was such a tease. "That's not fair, I planned on taking a shower first. Now we have a dilemma."

"Well...I'm always one for saving time and water...and the shower is just big enough for two people he said as he kicked his pants out of the way so he was only in his boxers.

"I hate you, you win." she chuckled.

"You don't hate me." he smirked.

"I don't?" she asked. "How do you know?" she teased.

"Fine...I'll take that shower alone." he said as he went into the bathroom and started the shower.
