Surprise

Lacy stepped off of the elevator and pulled her bag behind her as she looked for Phil's room. He didn't know she was coming, but she had always asked for his room number and the hotel he was staying at just in case she needed to reach him and his cell phone wasn't on. She had left Brandon with Phil's mom, because she had been asking to keep him for a little while anyway. Lacy needed a break from her work and appearances, didn't want to be at home alone, and figured this was a good way to spend her time. Phil was currently on a two week tour, and this was the beginning of his second week, so she'd spend that time with him.

She reached his door and knocked on it before covering up the peephole with her hand.

Phil was currently trying to take a nap and groaned when he heard a knock on the door. This tour was starting to annoy him and he was getting cranky. He just wanted to go home and spend time with Lacy and Brandon. He missed them. Anyway, he rubbed his eyes and made his way to the door. "This better be good." he said, then opened the door. "Oh...this is very good." he said.

She chuckled. "I can always come back later."

"No no, that's not necessary." he said as he pulled her inside and shut the door. "Hello." he said as he greeted her with a kiss.

"Hi." She chuckled, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. "Did I come at a bad time?"

"Nope, I was just waking up from my nap." he said as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Ah." She nodded. "I had some time off of appearances so I dropped the baby off with your mom and decided to surprise you."

"I'm glad you came then. I was sulking this whole week because I missed you and Brandon."

"Shoulda brought Brandon, then." She pouted. "But I am with you for the rest of the week. Plus the time we have at home."

"Now the week just got better. I won't be so cranky." he chuckled.

"You are always cranky." She smirked.

"I'm crankier when I'm not with you guys." he said. "I've gone soft."

"Sorry." She grinned. "Show tonight?"

"Not being used tonight. Tonight was my one night off."

"Oh really? I have perfect timing, then." She smiled.

"You sure do." he said. "Want to do anything tonight?" he asked.

"Whatever you want to do." She told him and rested her head on his shoulder. "If you're tired, we can stay in. Watch movies."

"Sounds good to me." he said. "Hungry?"

"Ate on the plane," she told him and left her bag by the door for the time being before going to lay face first on the bed. "Long ass flight," she chuckled.

He chuckled as he walked over to the bed and massaged her shoulders a bit. "You should sleep then."

"Yeah." She chuckled and relaxed at him kneading her shoulders. "Come all this way, say hey, and instantly fall asleep."

"At least I'll be here when you wake up. Ugh god, that was cheesy."

"A little bit." She chuckled.

"I'll try not to be that cheesy ever again."

"It fit the moment." She chuckled.
