Oh, Marriage.

Ashley and Conner had been very busy over the past couple of months. Ashley had been away doing promotions and stuff for RAW, while Conner was doing the same for Smackdown. Today, to get used to the whole marriage thing, they decided to see AJ and Ellie, just to see what it was like.

"So, you ready for this?" she asked Conner as they walked to the front door.

He nodded and shrugged. "Yeah I guess so." he said, taking her hand.

"Cool." she nodded as she rang their doorbell.

Ellie had just finished changing Madison's diaper and washed her hands as she heard the doorbell ring. "Coming." she said as she dried her hands off and opened the door for Ashley and Conner.

"Hey guys, come on in." she smiled, letting them in.

AJ took over Maddie duty while Ellie got the door.

Conner felt a little weird about this, but he was going to put up the front. "Hey..."

Ashley walked in, dragging Conner in as well.

"Thanks for letting us stop by." Ashley said.

"It's no problem, I need somebody else to talk to anyway." Ellie joked.

Conner chuckled. "Uh, yeah. I'm Conner." he introduced.

"Cool, I'm Allen and this is Maddie." he smiled, shaking his hand.

"Hi Allen and oh...Maddie. You got so big." Ashley chuckled.

Maddie nodded. "Uh huh, I big girl." she said.

"I can see that."

"And she is driving me crazy from time to time." Ellie chuckled as she motioned for them to sit down.

Conner just smiled as they all sat down. He felt a bit out of place.

"you want a beer man?" AJ asked.

"Yeah...please." he said as they got up and headed to the kitchen to get a couple of beers.

"So...what is it you wanted to know exactly?" Ellie asked as the boys went to the kitchen.

"Just what married life is like." Ashley shrugged. "We still uh...don't have the hang of it."

"Oh, well there's not really a difference to be honest. It's just well...in the record books." she chuckled. "Though...it is kind of tough at times, especially with...certain people showing up and trying to mess it up." she said.

"Certain people?"

"Remember? His friend I was telling you about." Ellie said in a whisper, putting Maddie on her lap as Ashley nodded. "Yeah...her." she said rolling her eyes.

"So...is being married worth giving up the single life?" Conner asked after his first sip.

"Well...I figured you'd know that when you married the girl." Allen chuckled.

"Well...I know, but marriage is a forever thing and...how do you know?" he asked, torn a bit.

"It's a feeling in your gut and in your heart. You just know it's right and you don't really wanna spend every night without her...and you're happy waking up every morning and seeing her." he smiled, thinking about Ellie.

"Other than that though, marriage is...well...it's okay right?"

"Eh yeah, not too many problems when there isn't any drama. Little fights here and there, stupid stuff really." Ellie shrugged.

"How did you know AJ was the one you wanted to marry though?" Ashley asked.

Ellie thought. "You know, I kind of just knew when I first saw him. He's just amazing and I couldn't ask for anybody else. He completed me, if you want me to be cheesy." she chuckled. "He just...made me feel like myself again after the whole Brad situation and well...he really loves me to put up with me. Plus, hello...he's totally hot." she giggled as she winked at Ashley.

"Oh yeahhhh, all about that." Ashley joked.

"Yep. No but, like I said...he just shows me how much he really loves me and would pretty much do anything for me." she smiled. "And, he's a great father to Maddie too. She's so attached to him and loves him a lot. I love him for even helping me out with creating my little monster." she joked as she tickled Madison, causing her to laugh.

"Yeah...I thought so too...just checking." Conner said, taking another sip of beer. He did feel a little better about what marriage was supposed to be like, but Allen and Ellie were so damn much in love it made him sick.

"You are so cheesy." Ashley chuckled. "I think I threw up in my mouth a bit."

"Oh shut up. You're mean. Besides, don't you love Conner?" she asked.

Crap. She wasn't expecting that. Now she had to lie.

"Of course I do, if I didn't, I wouldn't have married him." Ashley said with a nervous laugh.

"Just checking. Don't you worry though, with Conner on another show and you not around, girls would probably be all over him."

"Uh yeah, but he doesn't pay them any mind." she nodded.

"Right, well...just watch out for any former friends of his, that are females. Total whores." she muttered.

"So...how long have you and Ellie been together?" Conner asked curiously.

"Not long actually...but it's amazing." Allen smiled.

"Wow...umm...great..." Conner said, finishing off his beer.

"You alright? I mean don't you love Ashley and aren't you guys in that honeymoon stage?" Allen winked. Conner actually blushed a little.

"Um...yeah...just a bit more lowkey about it." Conner covered.

"I take it you two are animals." Ellie chuckled.

Ashley giggled. "Maybe you need a sex life, being all nosy with mine."

"Psh, that's what you think."

"So...since you guys have a kid and all...do you guys have time for..." he trailed off. Allen laughed.

"Yeah, we still make sure we make time for that. Don't worry. It's just all about how you handle priorities. Just remember that you're always a couple." Allen nodded.

"Oh? What does that mean?" Ashley asked with a chuckle.

"It means that mommy and daddy get some playtime of their own." she winked.

"Ew." Ashley giggled.

"Ew? It's not gross." she chuckled. "Just because I popped a kid out doesn't mean we can't. In fact, it's even better than before. I sometimes...well...I like to take charge sometimes and it's awesome." she smirked.

"Ugh, too much information." Ashley joked.
