Celebrating Their Birthdays

"You're right, I don't think Mommy has been in yet." he smirked back.

"She hasn't. She's all dry." Kayla said.

"Then let's go get her." he said as he went by Katie.

Kayla got up then ran after Randy.

Katie looked over at Randy.

"Yeah?" Katie asked.

He smirked and lifted her over his shoulder. "You're coming in the water."

Katie chuckled.

"Why? I'm fine with not being in the water." Katie said.

"Kayla and I think it would be a great idea." he said as he put her on her feet before going in.

"Well if you both think so." Katie said as she took off her dress then got in the water.

"Oh we do." he nodded.

Katie chuckled then looked at Kayla.

"Aren't you coming in?" Katie asked.

"No. It has green icky stuff in it." Kayla said.

"How about if I carry you and keep you away from the green icky stuff." Katie said.

"Okay." Kayla said with a smile.

Katie chuckled as she picked up Kayla.

Randy went into the water.

Katie walked into the water.

Kayla splashed Randy.

"No." he chuckled. "We have to get mommy."

"Oh yeah...I want to be carried by Daddy." Kayla said.

Katie chuckled and shook her head as she handed Kayla over to Randy.

Randy held Kayla in his arms as he swam over towards Katie.

"Better?"

"Yeah." Kayla said as she splashed Katie.

Randy chuckled and splashed Katie as well.

Katie laughed.

"You both are jerks." Katie said before she splashed them back.

"We are not." he chuckled.

"Yes you both are." Katie said.

Kayla shook her head.

"Nope." Kayla said.

"I agree with Kayla on this one."

"Alright Kayla you're not a jerk." Katie said.

"Yay!" Kayla yelled.

"What about me?" he pouted.

"You're still a bit jerky." Katie said with a grin.

"Mommy that's mean." Kayla said.

"I agree, very mean." he pouted.
