Celebrating Their Birthdays

Kayla squirmed around until she landed on her feet on the ground. She then ran over to Katie.

"Gotten?" Katie asked raising an eyebrow with a small grin.

"Fine, you are so smart."

"Thank you, so are you." Katie said with a chuckle.

"Mommy." Kayla said.

"Yes sweetie?" Katie asked.

"Can I drive home?" Kayla asked.

"Your daddy said no." Katie said.

"Who? I don't have a...d word." Kayla said.

"Ouch...burn." Ellie chuckled.

"Kayla." Randy said surprised. "Don't say that."

Katie shot Ellie a look.

"This isn't funny." Katie said.

"Mommy that strange man knows my name." Kayla said, pointing at Randy as she hid behind Katie's leg.

"Kayla stop it." Katie said.

Kayla shook her head as she crossed her arms.

"Sorry." she muttered.

Kayla glared at Randy.

"Kayla stop glaring and say sorry." Katie said.

Kayla looked at Katie then Randy.

"Fine...sorry Randy." Kayla said.

"If she wants to act like that, then I can take her presents away. No problem." Randy shrugged.

"No!" Kayla screamed.

"You want to be a bad girl you get your presents taken away." Katie said.

Kayla glared at Randy.

"You suck." Kayla said before she walked over to Ellie.

"I'm living with Auntie Ellie, she's better then all of you." Kayla said.

He shrugged, pretending not to care.

"You can do that, but you'll have to get new stuff since we're not letting you take your toys."

"Fine. Uncle AJ will be a better daddy then you." Kayla said.

"Kayla quit it." Katie said with anger in her voice.

"Kayla, don't say things like that, okay? It's not very nice."

Randy just shook his head.

"Whatever you say Kayla."

"He doesn't care." Kayla said.

"I think he does."

Kayla looked at Ellie then at Randy before she ran over to him and hugged his leg.

"I'm sorry daddy, I love you." Kayla said.

He picked her up.

"Good, I love you too."

Kayla kissed Randy on his nose.

"You don't suck, Uncle AJ does." Kayla said with a giggle.

"Kayla no one sucks." Katie said.

"Hey." Ellie fake pouted.

"No, Uncle Matt does." he whispered in Kayla's ear.

"Yeah." Kayla said with a chuckle.

"Kayla don't you have something to say?" Katie asked.

"Sorry Auntie Ellie." Kayla said.

Kayla looked back at Randy.

"Can I call you a loser instead of saying you suck?" Kayla asked.

"No."

"But...Auntie Ellie said you were a loser once. Why can't I say it?" Kayla asked.

"Because your dad is super sensitive." Matt said walking up to the group.

"Way to be late Matt." Katie said.

"Shush so I can give my favorite nieces tickets to Disneyland so they can meet Mickey Mouse." Matt said.

"Mickey?" Kayla asked as her ears perked up.

"Oh Mickey!" Madison grinned.

Ellie chuckled. "Hey Matt."

"I am not super sensitive." Randy said.

Matt handed Katie and Ellie the tickets to Disney in envelopes. Three in Ellie's and four in Katie's so each member of the families could go on the trip.

"Hey Ellie." Matt said with a smile.

"I love Mickey Mouse." Kayla said with a wide smile.

"I'm sorry you're super fragile mister shoulder injury." Matt said.
