Not Exactly What We Planned

She finished her make up and was playing around with Maddie for a bit as she waited for Katie to finish her hair.

Katie finished a couple minutes later.

"All done." Katie said.

"Thank you Katie." she smiled as she looked in the mirror.

She stood up and hugged her, then handed Maddie over to her.

"I'm going to change and then we're ready." she grabbed her dress and went to the bathroom to change.

Five minutes later, she came out.

"So...how do I look?"

"Amazing." Katie said with a smile.

"Thank you." she smiled.

"I think we're all set." she said then gasped.

"Wait, do you have something blue, borrowed and old? I totally forgot." she groaned.

"Maybe a necklace to borrow, a bracelet that's old...and something blue, well I don't know." she chuckled.

Katie thought for a second then handed Ellie a blue ankle bracelet.

"Can it be for all three? Like it's old, borrowed and blue?"

AJ and Jeff got ready. Jeff had held on to the rings for AJ since he was starting to get nervous. Once they were done, they headed to the Little White Wedding Chapel so AJ and Ellie could get married.

"Uh I think so." Katie said.

"Whatever, it works." she laughed.

She took in a deep breath and picked up Maddie.

"Let's get me married." she chuckled, opening the door so they could head to the chapel.

AJ and Jeff got their group "checked in" and Jeff paid for it. Now all they had to do was wait for the girls.
"Alright...go in the back. You're not allowed to see Ellie yet." Jeff said as he shoved AJ to a back room.

"Fine, fine." AJ huffed as he waited impatiently.

"Aw my baby sister is getting married." Katie said with a smile.

She laughed.

"I'm surprised I'm even walking right now. I think I'm going to pass out." she chuckled as they approached the chapel.

AJ was pacing nervously. "Are they here yet?" he called through the door.

"Not yet...now calm down and relax!" Jeff said, trying not to laugh.

"Don't you dare pass out on me Ellie." Katie said.

"Okay okay." she chuckled as they arrived at the chapel and they looked around for Jeff and AJ, Ellie getting nervous now.

Jeff knocked on the door. "They're here...so I'm gonna go talk with them and get them settled before I come get you."

"Okay..." AJ said nervously.

Jeff smiled at his sisters. "Hey you two...you look gorgeous." he smiled lovingly. He was clad in a nice pair of jeans, a black button down shirt and a blue blazer. "ready?"

"Ready to throw up." she stated as she hit panic mode.

"God, I can't do this. I mean, I love Allen and I want to marry him, but this is like a new job or something. I have to be able to take care of him, Maddie and myself, this is crazy." she said freaking out.

She took a deep breath and sighed.

"Okay, I think that all just needed to come out." she chuckled a little.

"You'll be fine. I'm married and I'm not miserable...well I was for a little bit...oh forget it. You're going to do great." Katie said.

She laughed.

"Oh Katie, only you." she chuckled.

AJ paced back and forth. Could he really do this? Could he be a husband and father and be everything his own father wasn't? Could he take care of his family?

Jeff laughed. "Ellie...are you done now? Come on...being married is just like before...it's just in the record books."

"Yeah, I think I'm done." she nodded. "Okay, I think I can do it guys." she nodded again taking a deep breath.

"Is he freaking out too?" she asked.

Jeff nodded. "Yeah...like every minute, he's been asking where you are or if you haven't run off because you realize you deserve better and blah blah blah." Jeff laughed.

She chuckled and shook her head in amusement.

"That man..." she laughed.

"Well I guess we should do this then."

"Yep." Katie said with a smile.
