Not Exactly What We Planned

AJ and Jeff looked around and AJ smiled widely when he found the rings he wanted. "Those..." he pointed them out. He got a good look at them and paid for them.

Once they paid for them, they decided to look around some more since their job was a lot simpler then the girls.

"I like this." Katie said.

"That's a cute dress Katie, I love it." she said taking Maddie from Katie since she reached for her.

Maddie looked over and giggled.

"Maddie likes it too." she chuckled.

"That's cause Maddie has a good fashion sense." Katie said with a chuckle.

"She certainly does. So is that the one for you?"

"In all this excitement...I haven't had a chance to get you two a wedding gift." JEff realized.

"We don't need anything...really. You being there is enough." AJ replied.

"Well...I'll pay for the wedding ceremony and dinner at wherever we decide to go for the reception. How about that?" he offered.

"That sounds fair...thanks Jeff."

"Yep." Katie said.

She nodded and went to pay for the dresses, then once it was done they went back to the hotel.

"Okay, so I've got pretty much everything, mind if we change in your room?"

"Nope not at all." Katie said.

"Thanks Katie." she smiled.

"It'll be like playing dress up when we used to do it all the time. You can do my make up and everything." she chuckled as they reached Katie's room.

"I'm going to feel like a little kid again." Katie said with a chuckle.

"So I'll meet you back in your room soon." Jeff told him since they still needed to shower.

"Yeah...so we'll just shower and I'll get changed in your room. Is that okay?"

"No problem. Whoever gets done first, call." Jeff laughed. AJ nodded and they went to their separate rooms to shower.

She laughed.

"So do I. I'm going to shower, mind watching Maddie for me? I'll be out quickly."

"I don't mind watching my cute little niece at all." Katie said as she took Maddie and tickled her.

Madison giggled and smiled at Katie.

"Thanks." she said as she went to shower.

She came back out about fifteen minutes and smiled at them.

"You showered already?"

"Yep." Katie said.

"Good. Now Maddie can be bathed too." she chuckled as she grabbed her and gave her a quick bath. After another ten minutes passed, Maddie was all dried up and changed into her dress.

"Look at my pretty baby." she chuckled as she kissed her on the cheek and Maddie tried taking her dress off.

"Oh Maddie, just for an hour or two, I promise." she laughed.

"Okay Katie, make me beautiful." she chuckled.

"You're already beautiful." Katie said with a chuckle as she sat Ellie down.

She shook her head and smiled.

"Well then, how about I'll do my make-up and you do my hair. I want it down and in curls." she grinned.

AJ had finished showering and called Jeff. He had just finished as well so AJ quickly threw on some comfortable clothes. He grabbed his clothes for the night and the rings along with his stuff to get ready with before heading to Jeff's room.

Jeff already had the door open and ready for him.

"Oh...thanks."

"I'm just prepared." he laughed.

"So...you got any hair gel? I don't have any with me." he said, looking through his bag.

"No problem." he said, throwing some to AJ.

"Okay." Katie said as she grabbed her curling iron.

She nodded as she did her make up for the night, opting to keep it simple with smoky eyeshadow and clear lip gloss, she wasn't really a big fan of too much make up. That and Maddie kept grabbing everything.

"Maddie sweetie leave your mommy's make up alone." Katie said with a chuckle.

"Ah, it's fine Katie. I don't use them all anyway." she chuckled as she moved the make up away from Maddie.

Katie chuckled then continued curling Ellie's hair.
