She heard shuffling in the kitchen and shifted on the couch, opening her eyes slightly before closing them again.

Phil walked out of the kitchen and saw that the tv was on, so he turned it off.

She heard the tv go off and opened her eyes, looking at Phil. "You're back?" she asked tiredly

Phil nodded.

"Not like I know where to go." he shrugged.

"Right." She shakes her head. She pulled her wheelchair over to her and tried to lift herself up in it, but the wheelchair slips from her grip and rolls away from her. She lets out a shriek as she hit the ground, the heel of her injured leg smacking the ground and shooting a harsh pain up her leg. "SHIT." She cursed in pain as she tried to pull herself back up on the couch.

She shot him a short glare as she fell back on the couch tending to her leg.

He sighed.

"Do you need anything for your knee?" he asked again.

"No." She muttered, lying.

He just stood up and went to the kitchen, getting her ice pack.

"Here, put this on your knee."

"I can't feel anything through the brace."

He nodded.

"Right, sorry."

She leaned her head back on the couch trying to ignore the pain in her leg.

"Do you want any pain pills or any medication?"

He just nods.

"Right."

She grimaces slightly, laying a hand on the brace.

He just goes to the kitchen and grabs her medicine and a bottle of water, bringing it to her.

"Take it and don't argue with me about it."

Phil takes the pills, shoving it in her hand.

"Take them."

She gave him a short glare and offered out her hand to give them back to him.

He shook his head.

"Lace, just take them. You're obviously in pain and you being stubborn is not going to ease it."
