A Nightmare (AJ/Ellie)

She pulled away and gave him a small smile."

"Come on..." she said as she helped him up.

"You're going to take a shower and I'm going to make you some tea and something to eat." she said softly as she helped him head to the bathroom.

He nodded as he stumbled to his feet. Then he turned the face her. "Did you still want this?" he asked softly, holding out the bracelet.

She looks at him and thinks. To be honest, she was still a bit hurt by his comments earlier, even though she knew he didn't mean it. Still, it made her unsure of what he really thought about her. She still didn't even know if they were together.

"If you want me to have it." she said softly as they made it to his bathroom.

"Of course I want you to have it...I love you...I just don't want to see you hurt or...or worse..." he admitted, a few tears escaping his face.

Her heart broke as she saw AJ so vulnerable and emotional. She cupped his face in her hands and wiped his tears away.

"Don't cry Allen..." she whispered as she hugged him again.

"The only thing that would hurt me is if I ever lost you. I'd die without you because you mean so much to me and I'd be lost without you. I love you too and I don't ever want you out of my life."

He hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry Ellie...I'm so sorry." he breathed softly, slowly started to calm down.

"It's alright." she said hugging him back and letting him relax.

He continued to hug her tightly.

They stayed there for a few good minutes and she pulled away a little.

"Alright, now you're going to take a nice warm shower and while you're doing that, I'm going to make you some tea and maybe some soup." she told him as she started to reach over and turn on the shower head.
