She looked over then grabbed Jeff's arm.

"Now lets go shoe shopping." Katie said with a smile.

He sighed heavily as he followed her along.

After a couple minutes Katie already had ten pairs of heels picked out and was now trying on boots.

"Which color Jeff? Black or brown?" Katie asked.

His arms were in major pain...as was his wallet. "Black...and this is THE last time I'm taking you shopping for the next 5 years or so." he told her.

"Sure it is." Katie said before she put the boots back in their boxes then put the black boots on top of her other boxes.

She then grabbed another box and put it on top.

"Hm...I think that's enough...oh wait I have to have those." Katie said as she grabbed a pair of black heels that had silver studs on the straps.

"Yes Jeff?" Katie asked as she looked for a box with her shoe size.

"How much more do I have to suffer?!" he whined.

Katie grabbed the box and put it on top of the others.

"Until I'm done shopping." Katie said.

She looked at the boxes then smiled.

"Jeff can you carry those boxes to the register please?" Katie asked.

He begrudgingly carried the boxes to the register. "when will you be done?"

Katie thought for a minute.

"Now...I'm hungry. Want to go get lunch somewhere?" Katie asked.

"Well after you buy the shoes we can go get food and I'll let you pick the restaurant." Katie said.

"Oh thank you." he said as he forked over another credit card. He took the bags of shoes now.

"Let's get this stuff in the car."

"Okay, don't drop any bags or else." Katie warned with a slight glare.

"Then can't you take some? Jewel, tell your new mommy to help Uncle Jeff." he pleaded with the small puppy who just barked happily.

He handed her three of the bags. Even that was a relief. "Alright...I'm too tired to pick where we're gonna eat...you pick." he said as they carried the stuff to the parking lot.

Katie smiled then opened the trunk of the car and put the bags she was holding into it.

Katie got into the passenger seat of the car then looked at Jeff.

"Can I pick the music?" Katie asked.
