"Are you sure?"

"Positive." she nodded. "I've got it."

He nodded. "Okay." he went upstairs to check on Ellie. "El, we're going to the hospital now. Do you need me to get your coat?"

"Yes, please." she said. "It's behind the door." she told him as she sat up slowly.

He grabbed her coat and her Uggs as well before going back to her and carefully slipping her jacket on before putting her Uggs on her feet. "That okay?"

"It's fine." she said and went to stand up. "Is your Mom going to stay here?"

"Yeah, she said she'd stay for the night." he said. "Think you can make it down the stairs?"

"Good.' she said then nodded. "I think so, I just have to take it slow." she said.

"Want me to carry you?"

She stood still for a second, letting the dizziness pass then nodded. "Please."

He nodded and put her arm around his neck, picking her back up. "You're burning up, El." he frowned.

"I am? I only felt warm." she told him.

"I can feel you through your coat." he told her as he carried her downstairs. "We'll be back." he told everyone.

"Can we come?!" Maddie asked.

Marcia shook her head. "No. Mommy has to go to the doctor. We're staying here and you guys are going to bed."

Maddie frowned but nodded. "Feel better, Mommy!" she said. Ajay said it as well.

"Thanks.' she muttered. "Sleep well." she told them.

Scott nodded and headed over to the garage door, managing to open it and head to the car. "You wanna lay down in the back?"

She nodded. "I think it'd be best."

"Okay." he opened the back door and put her in, covering her with his jacket that he left in the back seat.

(gonna head to bed)

"Just don't go over any bumps or anything." she said.

"I'll try.' he closed the door and got in the car before backing out of the garage and starting to drive.

She coughed a little. "Can you open the window a little? It's hot in here."

"It's really cold outside, El. You sure?"

"Mhm, I'm really hot." she frowned. "Just crack it open a little."

He cracked the windows a bit. "I'm trying to go as fast as I can without breaking the law, babe."

"I know." She said as she held the jacket tighter around her. "I'm okay for now."

He drove as fast as he could safely and got her to the hospital. He carried her inside and got her checked in, noting that she had an emergency. Now they were getting Ellie settled and started to give her fluids for her dehydration.

Scott held her hand. "Feeling okay now that you got some fluid in you?"
