She smiled to herself and was about to say something, but was interrupted when she saw the door open a little. "...pretend we're sleeping." she joked.

Ellie looked over to see who it was and her eyes widened in surprise. "Sophia." she gasped as she saw her crawling in with her teddy bear in hand. She let out a grin and a squeal, reaching for them as she sat up.

He sat up and frowned. "Sophie, how did you get out of your crib?" he asked as he reached over to pick them up.

She looked between her parents and just smiled, resting her head on Colt's shoulder, offering her teddy bear to Ellie. Ellie shook her head and chuckled, taking it from her. "She's getting big way too fast for me." she said. "And apparently I have to buy her a new crib or guardrail."

Sophia looked up at Colt in confusion, then looked over at Ellie. She frowned and crossed her arms, looking back at Colt. "Daaaaaaaady's girl." Ellie teased. "Look at her hating me for trying to have a moment with you."

Ellie snorted. "It's okay. When you're on the road, she loves me. I lose her when you come back. Never fails." she chuckled.
