Christmas with the Coltons

"I'd come back in a little bit." Ellie told her. "She took a shower and wants to take a nap."

"I'ma talk to her." Ally said again and went into her roo,, climbing into bed with Maddie. "Hey, don't be sad."

Ellie shrugged and headed downstairs.

"I just wanna sleep and forget about Christmas." Maddie sighed.

"Why? Because of Brandon. Psh." Ally shrugged. "Why would you forget 'bout Crimmus? Then you can't play with your new toys."

"I'll play with them tomorrow."

"Maddie." Ally rolled her eyes. "You only have to look at Brandon today. I look at him everyday. He has a crush on you, duh."

"He does not." Maddie said. "He's always mean to me."

"He got jealous of Jack kissin' you 'cause he wanted to kiss you." She said.

"Well." she scoffed. "he is never going to kiss me."

"Do you want him to kiss you?"

"I wanted him to...but only when he was nice, but now I will never let him do it."

"My mommy said my daddy used to be mean to her for a long time before they got married." she said.

"really?"

"Uh huh." she nodded. "So maybe you two will get married and have a bunch of Brandon and Ally's." she giggled.

"Ew, no." she giggled.

"Yeah huh." she giggled with her. "C'mon Maddie, no be sad."

"Fiiiiiine." she said. "I don't want to see Brandon though."

"He wanna see you."

"He can dream."

"you are mean like him." she giggled. "You still wanna nap?"

"I guess not. Maybe I'll go downstairs for a little bit."

"And you go 'cause you want to?"

"Yep and cause you made me feel a little better."

"I make you feel a lot a bit better." she grinned and hugged her tightly.

She giggled and hugged her back. "That too."
