Guy Time

"I know I keep saying this, but it's gonna work out, man. You two have gone through too much." He said. "You wanna know what I think? Ever since you told me about that Roman dude, and she's been getting so defensive about him, maybe she did something with him while you two were separated and feels guilty." he suggested. It was a long shot, but hey.

"Yeah but if I mention that to her, she'll get all mad at me for even thinking like that. I just don't win."

"At this point, what've you got to lose?" He asked. "And you were the one that said she was making a big deal about not being mad at you anymore."

He nodded a bit. "I'll ask her eventually. Right now, I'm just giving her space. We don't even sleep in the same room. I usually take the couch or guest room after the kids sleep and I go back to our room before they wake up. I don't want them knowing what's going on. They were already upset and crying when they found out why they were living in the other place."

He sighed. "You guys are either going to be together, or you're not," he said. "What makes you happy?"

"Being with her makes me happy." he told him. He didn't even have to think about it.

He nodded. "Then you're going to be with her. You've already seen that you two being apart makes you both miserable."

He nodded. "It really does. I'm hoping we at least start getting somewhere and that it's a step in the right direction."

"It will be." he nodded.

"Then I can't wait for that to happen."
