Guy Time

Scott saw that Punk was stressed out online and went to go see what was up with him. He got to his house not too long ago and they went downstairs to the movie room just to hang out and talk a little. "So what's got you wanting to get hit by a car? Thought you'd been there, done that."

"I want it to happen as much as it can." he told him. "Lacy and I are so fucked up, it's unbelievable."

"What happened?" he asked. "I thought you guys were back together."

"We're together in the house...but as a couple...I don't even know." he said. "We can't even fix what's wrong with us. I think this is it, I think she's gonna hand me the papers soon."

"What did you do? What did she do? You gotta help me out here, bud."

"She got mad at me over something and of course, you know she left and moved into some new place. Anyway, I got her to come home...something else happened and ugh." he sighed. "She says she's scared that things won't end well and she doesn't want to get too close to me if things end up falling apart again. Dude, I have no idea what else to do. All the fighting for her I did in the past worked, but now I have...no fight in me, I guess. I have no idea what to do anymore."

"I want you to answer me this honestly." He said. "At this point, do you think your relationship is worth fighting for? Worth saving?"

"I do." he nodded. "Think about all the shit we've been through." he told him. "I know we can fix it, but right now...I just don't know what to do anymore." he said as he ran a hand through his hair. "You know that I fucking love that woman and that I'd do anything for her. Hell, I'd take a fucking bullet for her."

"I know that and I think she knows it too. From what you're telling me and from Ellie's told me, it sounds like Lacy's got a lot of stuff going on inside of her head and she doesn't know how to sort it out. She seems sad all of the time, y'know?" he said. "I don't think it's you."

"Feels like it is." he said.

"You always taken the blame for stuff when it comes to her, though." he said, shaking his head. "I think she took the separation just as hard as you did, but she turned to alcohol. That messes with your mind, too, y'know." he said.

"Yeah, I guess." he said. "I just wish this shit was easier." he told him. "Don't get married." he joked a bit.

"You definitely make it look less appealing." he snorted.

"Sorry." he chuckled a bit. "Ugh, I just want to stay in this room and be miserable forever." he said. "...or until things get better."

"You're the one that always says that you can't change things from your couch." he chuckled. "Things will get better, I'm sure of it."

"I hope so." he nodded. "Anyway, I don't wanna talk about it anymore." he said. "How are you doing?"

"Okay, I guess." he shrugged. "El's starting to want to plan the wedding now so I've just been working with her on that."

"How exciting." he chuckled.

"No." he chuckled. "I'm not the wedding planner that you are."

"I am pretty great." he joked. "And I also had my four sisters help me." he snorted. "Just let her do it on her own."

"That was the plan, but she wants me to be involved. I don't know what the fuck to do." he chuckled.

"She'll probably just kick you off of planning duty anyway." he snorted.

"Yeah, maybe." he chuckled a little.

"...what's wrong?" he snorted.

"Nothing, nothing." he chuckled.
