Once Again

"Listen, El." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I... I know we're both taking the separation thing really hard, and you're right - it's making us both miserable. I know I said I couldn't ask you to take me back in good consciousness, but... I'm not in good consciousness right now. I love you so much, Ellie... so, so much. And if you're willing to give me another shot.." he smiled a little at her.

"Really?" she asked as she let out a small grin.

He stepped forward and wrapped his arms gently around her waist with a smile. "Really."

"Oh Scott." she grinned as she wrapped her arms around his neck to hug him tightly.

He kissed the side of her head and hugged her back. "I missed you, El. I'm so sorry."

"I missed you too." she said. "And I'm sorry too, you know...for being rude." she chuckled.

"With how I treated you, you had every right to be." He pulled away to kiss her softly. "I'll never do it again, I promise."

"Good, or I'll beat you up." she joked as she kissed him back.

"They kiss! No more yucky germs!" Maddie said as she watched from her hiding spot at the top of the stairs, lol.

"You know what that meansss..." Ajay grinned.

Maddie looked over at Ajay and she shook her head. "Oh god no."

"Happy dance timeeeee." he said and well, there go the pants. Diaper time, lol.

Scott chuckled and watched Ajay da-- jump around. lol. "Calm down there, bud." He smirked.

Ajay just giggled and chased Maddie, because she ran from him. "...you're sure you want to be with me and those crazy kids?" she joked.

He chuckled. "I wouldn't want it any other way." He kissed her temple.

"Okay then." she chuckled. "I love you." she grinned.

"I love you more," he kissed her.

"Nah, I do." she chuckled as she returned his kiss.

"No, me." He smirked and kissed her again. "I can do this all day."

"So could I." she laughed after she kissed him back. "But I'll let you win this time."

"Excellent choice." He smirked. "What were you guys doing before I got here?"

"Well, I made them lunch and then went to change Ajay because he spilled his food all over him."

"And now his clothes are off." he chuckled, watching him chase Madison.

"He loves to make things so difficult." she snorted.

Scott caught Ajay and held him upside down. "Where are your pants, bro?" he chuckled.

Ajay giggled. "...I don't knowwwww." he said. "I'm upside down." he grinned. "Cool!"

"You're gonna throw up." Maddie giggled.

"Not on my new shoes." Scott snorted and held him rightside up.

"Hey." Ajay frowned. "No fun."

"Crazy Ajay." Maddie said.

"You're all crazy." Ellie chuckled. "I think I'm going to lay down for a little bit. I feel a headache coming on."

"C'mon guys, lets go tuck Mommy in."
