Set Up

"Long enough," he rolled his eyes slightly. "I'm gonna tell Punk I'm heading out."

She was confused by his behavior but nodded. "Oh uh, well okay I guess." she said as she bit her lip. "Are you okay?" she asked. Maybe he was having a bad night. Even though he looked fine with Karla.

"No." Why lie? "I'll drop the overnight clothes you left at my place off by you tomorrow. Tell AJ I said hi." He shook his head and brushed past her.

AJ? What? She was beyond confused now and she was going to catch up with him but he was so quick and honestly, she didn't want to talk to him in a club of all places. Besides, she figured if he was upset about something, it'd be best to give him time to cool off before talking to him. In the meanwhile, she sat on one of the bar stools and ordered herself another drink, trying to think about what on earth he could be upset about. It was clear it was something about her and AJ apparently, but what exactly? What could she have done?

Punk well...he saw Colt leave. "Ugh, something tells me tonight won't go right."

Scott spotted Karla and bit his lip, walking over to her. "Hey. You wanna hang out for a while?"

Lacy rose a brow, seeing him talk to some redhead. A redhead that wasn't Ellie. "Did something happen that we didn't know about?"

Karla looked over at Scott, surprised. "Yeah sure." she grinned as she wrapped her arm around his.

"I don't know." he shrugged while Ellie looked pretty bummed since she saw him walk over to Karla. Well, time to down her drink. Which she did, lol.

"C'mon, I'll go get you a drink." He told her as he led her over to the bar, not too far from Ellie. Shitty thing to do, but #yolo

Lacy let out a small incredulous laugh. "I'm gonna go talk to her. Talk to your friend." She shook her head as she went over to Ellie.

Karla went with Colt and grinned. "Why the sudden change?" she smirked as she saw Ellie head back to Punk and Lacy's table.

Punk groaned. Colt...ugh. He started walking over to him.

Ellie headed back to Punk and Lacy's table, clearly a little tipsy from the three drinks she had.

"My friend ended up being a total bust." And the grin was back on his face. Take that, cheater Ellie.

"What happened, Ellie?" Lacy asked as she saw her.

She laughed a bit. "Well, you'll forget all about her. What do you say we have this drink, then head back to my place?" she offered.

Ellie shrugged. "Honestly, I don't even know. I went to go say hi and he was just being so short and cold with me. Then he told me he would drop some stuff off at my place tomorrow and to say hi to AJ." she said as she bit her lip, holding back tears. "I think he broke up with me. Now he's talking to some girl and she's all over him." And another drink.

"I don't know about that all of that, Karla." He said as he started to drink. She probably wanted to nail him in the bathroom.

Lacy frowned. "That's.. weird. Did you guys fight or something?"

"Not to do anything like that." she chuckled. "Just to talk and catch up. I promise I will be on my best behavior.'

"No." she sighed. "And I don't want to be here anymore if he's going to be flirting with some other girl, right in front of me." she frowned and shook her head. "I think it's time for me to go home."

Punk walked over to Colt. "Hey buddy." he grinned. "Can I borrow you for a sec?"

"Oh, then su--" He turned to see Punk, rose a brow and nodded. "Sure. Excuse me for a sec, Karla." He stood up. "What, Punk?"

"I think Punk's stopping him," she turned her to look at the boys.

"...what are you doing?" Punk sighed. "And with Karla of all people."

"I don't care." Ellie said as she shook her head and grabbed her clutch. "He's stupid and I'll let him talk to stupid, slutty girls." she muttered as she let some tears slip out. "Men are so dumb and frustrating." she said as she downed another drink and started walking off.

"Uh... talking?" Scott snorted. "I needed company, and you and Lace were dancing." he shrugged.

"Ellie, you can't go out like this, you're drunk." Lacy caught her arm.

'You know...there is somebody here who is your girlfriend. She could keep you company."

"So? I'll call a taxi." she nodded. "I want to go."

"Ah, yes, Ellie Hardy." he chuckled. "You mean the girl who was stringing me along so she wouldn't be too bored while she tried to decide if she wanted to keep putting up with AJ's neglectful bullshit? Yeah, she's not my girlfriend."

"No, you're not." Lacy said and made her sit down. "We'll chat. Be girls. Dance a little, alright?"

Punk shook his head in confusion. "Wait, what?"

"I don't want to do anything." she sighed at Lacy. "Why are men such idiots?" she frowned.

"She's just not who I thought she was." He shook his head. "String me along on the side while she makes up with AJ? Total bullshit."

"Only God knows, El. C'mon, let's go dance," she tugged on her arm.

"...she didn't make up with AJ." he said. "You think I'd let you date her if I knew that was going to happen? Lacy would tell me. Where did you even get that from?"

"You go dance. I'll stay here."

"Daniels told me, and you know he doesn't lie."

"C'monnnn," she pulled her up.

"Daniels? Dude." he groaned. Sometimes, he wanted to slap Colt. "Who is Daniels best friends with?" he asked him.

"Lacy, no." she whined. "Let me sulk."

"Psh, I don't know... Styles." He shrugged. "So?"

"No, because you don't do well when you sulk. See, you like this song!"

"Okay...if it were me...and Lacy and I didn't fight as much or whatever...and she was dating somebody...wouldn't you try your best to oh I don't know...make the guy leave her so that we could get back together?"

"If I dance to one song, then can I go home?"

"Styles ain't like that and you know it." He shook his head. "That's low."
