Maddie's Day

"She can have Ally." Brandon muttered smartly.

Scott heard it and snorted. "Brandon."

Punk snorted. "Be nice."

"Brandon is so mean." Maddie said.

"I mean because I give you my sister?" Brandon rolled his eyes. "You say you want a sister, I give you one, and I mean. You just never happy. Brat."

Maddie was going to pout....but decided to glare at it. She grabbed her spoon that had cake on it and flicked it back....hoping to get the cake on him.

And it did. Brandon let out a small gasp as the cake hit his shirt.

"Madison, are you seri--" Scott started to admonish her, but Brandon had a handful of cake and pushed it into Madison's face.

"Brandon, knock it off."

Madison let out a gasp as she wiped her face. She grabbed some cake and threw it at him.

"Madison, you don't do that. Stop it right now." Ellie said as she tried to stop her.

More cake hit Brandon's face and he glared at Madison. "Why you littl--"

"WHAT is going on here?" Lacy asked as she came back, holding Allison. Brandon froze, dropped the cake and looked at Lacy. He didn't like the look on her face.

"Well?" She looked between Brandon and Madison.

Madison dropped her spoon and looked at Lacy. "Uhhhhh, we're having a nice cake fight?" she grinned.

Lacy put Allison down, and Ally went to Scott. Didn't like Daddy very much right now. lol. Lacy rose a brow and looked down at Brandon and Madison. "Wanna tell the truth?"

"...fineeeeee. I call Brandon mean because he wants to give away Ally, then he called me a brat and I threw cake at him."

"Christ..." Lacy rubbed her forehead. "Whatever this whole thing between you two is, it needs to stop. Brandon, you are the biggest brat of them all. Quit being a jerk," Brandon gasped, "And Madison, it's your birthday, and you're not being very good. I'm very disappointed in you."

Madison looked down at her feet. "Sorry Layley."

Ellie shook her head as she finished wiping frosting off of Maddie's face. "Well...I think it's time to wrap it up here because when Maddie gets home...she'll be going straight to her room."

"Ah ha." Brandon teased her lowly, but Lacy heard it, and he shut up. lol.

Lacy sighed and shook her head. "God, look at you." She took off his cake covered shirt. Thankfully, he had an undershirt on. "I'm really sorry, El."

Ellie shook her head. "It's fine. Maddie is the one who started it by throwing cake. Sorry about Brandon's shirt, I'll wash it for you." she told her as she cleaned up and Maddie just....sat on the bench...going all the way to the end of it to get away from everybody, lol.

Scott saw that Madison had isolated herself from everyone and set Ally down, going down to talk to her. "Hey, cutie... what was that all about?"

"Brandon called me a brat and I am not a brat. He is a brat." she nodded.

"Well that was kinda bratty what you did back there." He told her honestly.

"He made me mad." she shrugged.

"I think you two like each other more than you want to let on." He arched a brow. "And now look, you got Lacy mad at you."

"I know." she frowned. "I don't like it when Layley is mad at me. She'll never talk to me or love me again."

"I think she will always love you, but I think you lost some brownie points with her." Scott told her. "Hey... Lacy used to get mad at me all of the time, and she still talks to me. And I did more than just throw cake around. One time... I cut her hair off while she was sleeping."

Maddie gasped. "And she still talks to you?!"

"Exactly." He smirked. "See kiddo? You will be fine."

"Maybe." Maddie said. "And now I have to go to my room." she pouted. "Worst birthday ever."

"Tell you what. I'll talk to your Mom when you guys get home, and see if she'll lighten up. Brandon was kind of a jerk."
