Getting Back in Action

It had been about a month or two since AJ's accident and he was still recovering. He was finally cleared to workout and train again, so Ellie decided to go to the gym with him and attempt to help him out a bit, also...she wanted to get in a work out as well, sort of relieve her stress. She had been making sure he was okay and since she felt like this was all her fault anyway, she was doing everything she could for him. Ellie left the kids with Chris so they could have a playdate with his kids and then headed to the gym with AJ. Once they got there, she helped him go inside. "Ready for today?" she asked as she placed her jacket in one of the lockers of the gym.

"Yup...let's do this." he grinned. Ellie had been nothing short of a saint while he had been recovering from his motorcycle accident. "Baby...I was thinking...after I get all better...and right before I go back to work...you and me should take a weekend, in the mountains or something like we did our first Christmas." he smiled a bit.

"Oh?" she asked as they walked into the gym area. "I'd like that." she nodded. "It'd be nice." she smiled.

"Make my wife feel like...a real woman again." he grinned.

"AJ..." she chuckled and blushed a bit. She shook her head and thought about it, it had been a while since they spent time as a couple....and well...were intimate. The last time was probably a little after she found out she was pregnant with Ajay. "Well...we'll just work on getting you better first." she laughed. "Don't worry about me."

"Too late." he smiled a bit as he stretched.

She shook her head. "Anyway, what do you want to do first?"

"Well...I guess a good start would be running the ropes."

She nodded. "Well then let's go." she said as they headed to the ring.

He nodded as they got into the ring.

"You sure you're ready to be practicing again?" she chuckled. "I'm a little worried."

"Why?" he frowned.

"I'm just being all paranoid that you'll hurt yourself or something."

"I need to start training again...if I don't I'll just fall further back."

She nodded. "I know, just...take it easy."

"Yes ma'am." he smiled as he continued to stretch.

"Good." she chuckled.

He began to jog a bit around the ring.

She watched him jog around a bit and he seemed to be okay. She felt a little better. "I'll just....sit here and watch." she chuckled.

"You just wanna see me get all sweaty." he smirked.

"Yep, you caught me." she chuckled.

"I knew it." he winked as he stretched a little more. "Any requests?"

"Hm, not really. Just surprise me."

He smiled as he ran the ropes a bit quicker.

She smiled as she watched him, glad that he wasn't in any pain....well that she knew of....and that he was back on his feet again, getting used to being in the ring again. "Good job babe." she smiled.
