Stop, Baby Time. [AJ/Ellie]

Soooooo Ellie was downstairs in the living room, playing around with Madison. She felt pretty good during her pregnancy and luckily, she wasn't as big as she thought she would be. She went to pick Madison off of the floor and held her back a bit. Okay so maybe she shouldn't be doing that.

"You kay mommy?" Madison asked as she saw Ellie hold her back.

"Uh yeah." she said. "Go get daddy, okay?"

"Kay." she said as Madison walked off. As soon as she walked off, Ellie....well her water broke. It felt weird to her, her water didn't break with Madison since she was born early.

Madison made it to AJ's room and went to get him. "Mommy wants you." she said.

AJ was working on a few things for a possible new t-shirt design when Madison came to get him. "Okay...let's see what mommy needs." he smiled, picking her up and walked into where Ellie was. "Baby? You alright?"

She pointed at her stomach. "My water broke. I'm pretty sure." she said with somewhat of a chuckle.

His eyes widened. "Oh...OH! We gotta get to the hospital...we'll just take Madison with us...come on, let's get you to the car." he said, not even bothering to put Madison down as they headed for the car.

"Okay, okay." she said. "We didn't even pack a bag or anything." she said as they headed out.

"I'll leave a key for Lacy and we can ask her to bring some stuff."

"Well alright." she said. "Ew, this feels gross." she said. "Let's get to the hospital quickly."

He nodded. He left the key for Lacy and got Maddie in her car seat before speeding to the hospital.

She felt the contractions a bit and groaned. "What's going to happen with Maddie?" she asked.

"I can't be with you at first...but once we get there and you get settled, I'm gonna call Lacy and Phil and get all that taken care of...once they get here, I'll be there with you, okay?"

"Mhm, that's fine." she said. "Oh my god, how much longer until we get there?" she asked as she felt another contraction.

"We're almost there baby...just remember to keep breathing."

"Easy for you to say, you're not about to have something the size of a watermelon come out of you." she said as she did her breathing exercises.

He sped up and got to the emergency parking. He got out of the car and got Maddie out as well. "Alright, let's get you in there."

"Finally." she said as they headed in.

He made sure to get her checked in and got the paperwork filled out.

As AJ was doing that, they brought out a wheelchair for Ellie and she sat in it, ready for them to pull her away.

"Wait, where are you going?" Madison asked with a slight pout.

"Your little sister is coming out." Ellie told her.

"I come." Maddie nodded.

AJ shook his head. "Sorry sweetheart...no kids allowed when the new baby is coming." he said softly.

Madison frowned. "Fineeeee. Hurry though, kay?"

"Okay." Ellie chuckled. "I'll see you in a bit." she told AJ.

AJ quickly kissed her and set to work on calling Lacy so he could be with Ellie.

Lacy was awakened by her cell phone and sighed before reaching out to get it. She answered sleepily, "hello?"

"Hey Lacy...it's AJ...Ellie went into labor...we're at the hospital now...but I forgot to pack a suitcase for her. I left a key under the welcome mat...could you get her stuff and come down to the hospital?"

She looked over at the clock and had half the mind to ask if he had any idea what time it was, but he had explained that Ellie was in labor. She was already out of bed and putting her shoes on. She didn't bother changing out of her pajamas because she didn't feel like finding anything to cover her own pregnant stomach. She grabbed the car keys and would tell Phil where she was later. "Yeah, give me a few." she said as she exited the room.

"Thanks so much...sorry for disturbing you." he said before hanging up. Then he sat down with Madison.

Lacy made the quick drive over to Ellie's house, got in, and packed an overnight bag for Ellie. Once she did that, she made sure to lock the house up before driving to the hospital.
