A Rejected Little Sister Returns

Katrina Elise Moore walked into the gym, her grey hoodie zipped up to her bust line, her hood over her head. Dress in a red t-shrit, black pants and red sneakers, the rejected 22 year old sighed as she sat down on the bench at the far end of the gym. Was this really what she wanted? She didn't know but she wanted to try her best to escape her checkered past.

Jeff was making his way into the gym. He knew he'd been slacking in his work out for a while and he had to drag himself in there. He walked in and there weren't that many people there. He spotted a bench and took a seat, grabbing what he needed out of his bag and changing his shoes.

"Hey." he greeted with a smile at the girl he was sitting with. "Hope you don't mind me sitting with ya for a minute."

Kat looked up and smiled.

"No, take you time," she said with a smile

"I'm Jeff." he greeted, extending his hand.

"Katrina, but you can call me Kat," she said, shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Kat...you new around here? You're definitely a new face to the gynm." he chuckled, slipping on his tennis shoes.

"Yeah, I just signed my Smackdown contract this morning," Kat explained.

"Well then welcome to the blue brand." he grinned as he tied his shoes.

"Now my first mission is to avoid my pain in the ass brother at all costs," Kat said.

"Brother? Who's your brother?" he asked curiously. "Is he a wrestler too?"

"Shannon Moore," Kat answered sighing.

"Bastard stabbed me in the back,"

"Wait...Shannon's your brother?" he asked shocked. Shannon was one of his cloest friends and he;d never mentioned having a sister.

Kat nodded.

"Bastard got me kicked out when I was 13," Kat said.

"What happened?" he asked softly as he tied his hair back.

"I had some drug problems back then and Shannon ratted me out," Kat said.

"Ratted you out?" he asked with an arched eyebrow as he sat back on the bench.

"Look...I'm not one to judge...especially about drugs, but...if he told someone about it, then he probably was doing the right thing."

"He got me thrown out of my house, I lived on the street for six months!" Kat defended

"Okay...I don't know the whole story...so think you can fill me in?" he asked.

"When I was 13 I started getting into drugs, drinking, stuff I shouldn't have been into but I was going through a rough patch at that time because my parents always compared me to Shannon." Kat said.

"When Shannon found out he told my parents and they threw me out and told me I was a disgrace to the family name," Kat said, tearing up a bit as she finished.

"Well Shannon only did that because he was worried about you, probably...look...I know you think you hurt you and backstabbed you...but he was just trying to be a good brother, from what it sounds like. You can't go on blaming him for that...let me ask you this...are you clean now? Did you manage to clean yourself up?" he asked.

Katrina nodded.

"I've relapsed a few times but yes," she said.

"Well that's good...that's the important part...have you tried contacting Shannon and patching things up with him?" he asked curiously.

"I'm not sure if I'm ready to do that," Kat said softly.

"But...he probably would like that...and you've grown from that...and matured from what it seems like...what's the point of holding on to that? If he hadn't told your parents...where do you think you'd be right now?" he asked curiously.

"I'd still be hook on them," Kat said.
