Brother and Sister Shopping (Jeff and Katie)

Katie walked into the mall with Jeff then smiled at him.

"Thank you for taking me shopping Jeff." Katie said.

"You know I do it because I love you." he said chuckling as he kissed his sister's cheek.

"so how are things with you and Randy?" he asked curiously.

"Pretty good I guess. We haven't been really talk much since that whole kidnapping night though." Katie said as she looked down.

He furrowed his eyebrows. "what do you mean?" he asked a little concerned.

Katie shrugged.

"I don't know. He just hasn't called me lately and then when I try leaving messages for him he doesn't call me back. I don't know what I did wrong." Katie said.

Now he was a little worried, not to mention pissed off. "I don't either...he better have a damn good reason." he said tensing up a little at the memory of that night. Candice had nightmares and he was worried that his baby sister was too.

"How have you been by the way? I mean...have you been...having nightmares at all?"

Katie nodded.

"Yeah some. Vince sent me home one night because I was so tired when I went to Raw last week." Katie said.

She ran her hand through her hair.

"I mean I just promised him a title shot at the next PPV and then all of a sudden he stopped calling me." Katie muttered.

Jeff's body tensed. "You've been having nightmares and he hasn't been there for you?!" he asked getting angry. "If he loves you he'd be there for you when you need him! And then he ditches you after he gets a title shot?!" he said, almost fuming.

"That's it...I'm going to personally kick his ass."

"No Jeff! He's probably been busy that's all. I'm sure he'll call me soon." Katie said.

"I don't care! If you love someone like he says he loves you, he'd put you higher than a damned title shot!" he spat.

"And even if he couldn't physically be there, he'd call you." he pointed out.

Katie felt tears in her eyes.

"Please can we just go shopping?" Katie asked.

Jeff stopped for a minute before pulling her into a tight hug. "I'm sorry...hey..." he said pulling away from her. "I know they have a puppy store here...wanna go see the puppies?" he offered with a small smile.

Katie smiled a little then nodded as she wiped away some tears.

"Yes I do, I love dogs." Katie said.

"I forgot...do you have a dog?" he asked her.

Katie shook her head.

"I want one though, they're the sweetest things in the world and would never...hurt you." Katie said as she looked down.

He tensed up a little again. "I know...come on...let's go."

Katie looked at Jeff.

"Okay." Katie said.

(Aw Jeff is such a nice brother. I was to see the picture of the puppy, I love dogs. I have four of them. lol)

As soon as she said she didn't have a dog, it wouldn't be fair that both the Hardy Boyz had a dog and their sister didn't. He had a plan. He would pick out one of the puppies and buy it for her. She needed a loyal companion and a dog was perfect for it. They got into the store and smiled at all the little puppies.

Katie smiled as she looked at all the puppies.

"Aww they're all so cute." Katie said.

(Aw that's such a cute puppy. lol)

He chuckled as he pointed to a little Alaskan Eskimo puppy. "What do you think of that little girl? Her name is...Jewel." he said reading the little tag on the container she was in.

Katie looked at Jewel then instantly fell in love with the little puppy.

"Aw she's so cute, I want to take her home." Katie said.

He smiled at her reaction as he flagged down one of the workers. "Excuse me...yes...I'd like to purchase her." he pointed at Jewel and then looked at Katie.

"Go pick out her collar and stuff...she's gonna need it when you get her home." he said smiling at her as the employee grabbed the happy puppy for them.

Katie looked at Jeff.

"Jeff you don't have to buy her for me." Katie said.

"I know I don't have to...I want to." he said with a soft smile. "It's not fair that me and Matt have a dog each and you don't." he explained as he took out his wallet to pay for the little dog.

"Go pick out her collar, leash, everything." he instructed. "I'm getting her for you whether you like it or not and if you really don't like her I'll keep her." he said smiling.

Katie went over to Jeff then hugged him.

"Thank you." Katie said before she started walking around the store for everything.
