"...beautiful." he said and went into her room. He grabbed a tissue that was in there and cleaned off her nose. He'd worry about his shirt later.

She fought off sleep for as long as she could, but he was too good. With a final sniffle, she fell asleep on his shoulder.

Once he saw that she fell asleep, he rocked her a few more times then put her into her crib and covered her up. Before going back downstairs, he threw his shirt into the hamper and grabbed another one to put on. He then went back downstairs. "I'm back babe."
