Kidnapped

"...they're weren't there, Scott. It all became too real when I went to the school."

Punk sighed and went over by her, deciding...what the hell, he'd lay down with her too. He wrapped his arms around her. "Everything is going to be okay, Lace. We're going to find them."

"I wish I was there." he kissed the top of her head. "I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that those kids are back with you El. Even if it kills me."

"I-I just saw them this morning, Phil," Lacy said weakly, and she started to shake harder when he held her. "And now they're gone," she started to cry again.

"I'm so scared." she told him as she started to cry. "They're out there somewhere, probably scared or hurt. What if they're...." she shook her head. "There are bad people out there and anybody could get a hold of them." she told him. "I just want them back." she sobbed.

"I know baby, I know." he said as he tried to keep himself together for them. "I'm going to find them Lacy. I'm going to search high and low for them and never give up."

"And you're gonna get them back." He told her. He held her tightly and just whispered sweet things to her, letting her cry.

"What if we don't find them?" She looked at him, still crying. "Or what if we do and they're dead?! I would die, Phil!" And that was when she went into hysterics.

She just continued to cry, clutching onto his shirt as she shook a little, letting the sobs take over her.

Punk shook his head. "Damn it Lacy, look at me." he told her as he turned her to face him and held her to him tightly. "We need to stay positive right now. Don't think about anything negative. We're going to find them and they're going to come back home." he told her.

"i'm here for you, and I love you," Scott whispered to her, stroking her hair.

"I just want them back." She buried her head into his chest, sobbing.

She nodded a bit and tried to calm herself down. "I just want to go home."

"I want them back too." he said as he kissed the top of her head, stroking her hair.

"Lets stay here for a little while longer," he said. He didn't want to take her home and let her see the kids' stuff, because that might set her off worse than she is now.

She cried until she didn't have the energy to anymore, and she fell asleep against his chest, still clutching onto his shirt.

She sighed, but nodded. She would wait a while.

Punk sighed and picked Lacy up, bringing her into their room and laying her on the bed. He covered her up and kissed her forehead, then left the room. He went to check on Jack and Carly as well, smiling softly at them and kissing their cheeks. He then headed downstairs. "Lacy is asleep."

Scott looked over at Punk, keeping his arms around Ellie and nodded. "Good." He nodded. "We're gonna stay here for a whi--"

Suddenly, the window shattered before a brick with a note attached to it hit the floor, and they heard a car skidding off.

"What the fuck?" Scott asked, alarmed.

The note read-

you said your goodbyes this morning. you'll never see these brats again.

Punk ran out to see if he could see the car, or at least the license plates...but they were already gone. He went back into the house and went to look at the note, picking it up. "What the fuck is this shit?"

Ellie obviously got up and went to snatch the note from Punk. "KB?" she asked. "I don't...I don't understand."

"Son a bitch, they took our kids."

"Who?"

"...I have no idea. We've got to call the cops and report this." he said as he grabbed his phone.

"Ellie, go upstairs." Scott told her as he pushed her gently towards the stairs. "I don't know what else is happening and I don't want you to get hurt. Go."

She was going to protest because anything that had to do with the kids, she wanted to be a part of....but she needed to be safe in order to help. She nodded. "Okay." she said as she headed upstairs to the guest room and figured she would text AJ and let him know what was going on.

Punk made sure Ellie left and he heard the guest room door close. "Who the fuck do we know with the initials KB?" he asked as he looked at the note.

"The only person I know who's name starts with a K is Karla but her last name isn't with a B, so that rules her out. The better question is who the fuck would want to do this to us?"

"Some sick fuck, that's who." he said as he thought. "...you don't think Brad has anything to do with this, right? He was bothering Ellie in the past." he pointed out.

Scott thought for a moment. "I can't rule that out now that you've said something, but why would Brad take -your- kids?"

"That solves the B part of the initials. Since there's a K...and the only person I know whose name starts with a K is Karla....you think they're working together?"

"Karla isn't that smart." He shook his head. "Let's not jump to conclusions."

"It's all I can think of. There's nobody else I know with a K." he shrugged...then his phone rang. "Blocked number." He told Colt as he answered and put it on speaker. "Hello?"

Well well, hello to you. Missing anything? Karla smirked.

"You bitch."

"Who is it?" Scott mouthed.

"Karla." he told him and went back to talking to her. "What the fuck do you want? Tou better give me my kids back."

Such language Punk. Look, I've told you time and time again that we belong together. You never listen. These kids could have been ours...but noooo, you just had to go and pop them out with Lacy."

"You're psychotic. Why take the other kids that aren mine?"

That was all me. Brad said as he now spoke. Theyvalso are supposed to be mine but you people don't listen. I ran into Karla and well...as you can see we have a lot in common. We're gonna make those kids ours and don't worry we'll take real good care of them."

"DADDY!" Brandon called out, crying loudly.

Scott couldn't hear Brad but was already on the phone calling the police.

Punk tensed up. "I'm going to find you fucker and when I do...you're going to die."

Punk gre me angry and threw the phone onto the couch. "They fucking touched my kid!"
