Kidnapped

Lacy was hanging out with Ellie that morning, making a late breakfast for Punk while they talked and caught up. Scott was there too, but Lacy wasn't cooking for him obviously. lol. The phone rang and she looked at the caller ID, seeing that it was the kids' school. "It's the school," she said to Ellie and answered the phone. "Hello? ...yes, this is she. WHAT?" she dropped the spatula she had into the stove. "What do you mean they're missing?! How could you let this happen?! I-- oh no..." Lacy started to cry.

It was then that Ellie's phone rang.

Ellie looked over at Lacy, very concerned and was going to ask her what was wrong...until her phone rang. She answered and of course reacted the same way Lacy did. "How were you not watching them?!" she asked angrily as she started to cry.

Punk looked over at the girls, then at Colt. "Uh...I think we should go check this out."

Scott looked over at them very concerned and went over to Ellie, putting his arms around her. "What happened, El?"

Lacy just handed Phil the phone, putting her head in her hands, continuing to cry.

She couldn't even speak and turned around in his arms, crying as she buried her face in his chest.

Punk was confused and took the phone, holding Lacy to him. Once he got the news...Papa Punk wasn't very happy. "How the fuck do you let that happen?!" he asked angrily. "The kids are missing." Punk told Colt.

Scott's eyes widened and he wrapped his arms around Ellie tightly. "Are you fucking kidding me? That's bullshit!"

"We're so sorry, Mr. Brooks... we've contacted the authorities and they are out looking for your children right now."

Punk shook his head. "I'll go look for them myself." he said and hung up. "Cops are out there looking for them, but I'm going to find them."

"And where are you gonna look?" Scott asked as he held Ellie. "I'm sure they're gonna wanna talk to us anyway. Wait it out. If anything, go to the school."

"I just want my kids," Lacy cried, and she started to shake.

"I know baby, I know." Punk said as he held Lacy and tried to keep her calm. "Let's go to the school and see if we can find out anything else."

"What if they never come back?" Ellie asked.

"They're going to. They have to and I'm not going to stop looking for them."

"Shhhh," Scott shushed Ellie and kissed the top of her head. "Do you want to stay here or go to the school?"

As much as she tried to calm down she couldn't. She was still shaking and she couldn't stop crying. "I don't want to go to the school, I just want my babies," she sobbed before something finally dawned upon her. "Jack and Carly... Jack and Carly!" she panicked and pulled away from him, running upstairs to the nursery.

"I have to go to the school." she told him.

Punk sighed. "You guys go ahead, I'll stay back with her."

"They can't release information to El about Allison and Brandon, you've gotta be there. Tell you what... baby, you're gonna ride with Punk, okay? I'll stay back with Lacy and make sure everything is okay with the twins."

She sighed and nodded. "Okay." she sniffled.

Punk nodded and grabbed his keys. "Come on, El. Maybe they'll be able to tell us something."

She nodded and followed Punk out.

Scott went upstairs to find Lacy and saw her in the nursery, on the couch crying. Jack and Carly were in their cribs sound asleep and he didn't know if she was crying tears of grief or tears of relief. "Lace.." he went next to her and was surprised when Lacy grabbed him, crying into his shoulder. He just sighed and put his arms around her, consoling her.

"I just want my kids to be okay, Scott," Lacy cried.

"They're gonna be okay. I promise." he told her, placing his hands on the back of her head. He hoped Punk and Ellie got some information soon.

Punk and Ellie had arrived at the school, not finding out a whole lot. The only thing they were told was that the kids were out there for playtime and when they were all called back in, they never came back. Ellie went inside to grab their belongings and then talked to police, describing what the kids looked like and what they were all wearing that day.

Punk spoke to the cops as well, then called Colt to let him know what was going on.

Scott answered. "Hey, find anything?"

"Not much. Just that they never came back when they were called inside. El went to get their stuff and is talking to the cops now, describing the kids and what they wore."

"I can't tell Lacy that." He sighed. "What are we gonna do?"

"I don't know man. Cops are looking around for any evidence or footprints or whatever they can find."

He nodded a little. "How's Ellie?"

"About to breakdown." he told him. "I can't believe this shit." he said.

"Neither can I and it pisses me off." He sighed. "When you guys are done, come back here so I can take care of Ellie. Lacy's not doing to well either, she got sick."

He nodded. "I'll be on my way. Talking to the cops probably isn't helping Ellie either. We'll be there soon." he told him as he hung up. He went by Ellie and then managed to get her away from the cops, going back to their car. He looked over at her, watching as she held onto her kids sweaters tightly and shook his head. He headed back home and when he parked the car in the driveway, he opened the door, letting her walk in first...as she just plopped down onto the couch. "We're back.'

Scott came downstairs and saw Ellie, going over to her and wrapping his arms around her. "Lacy's upstairs, in your bathroom."

"Thanks man." Punk nodded as he went to the bathroom. "Lace?"

Ellie just sat there...not even moving or anything. She was into way too much shock and going to the school and not seeing her kids or Lacy's kids made it all a reality to her.

Scott sighed a little and maneuvered himself and Ellie to lay down on the couch, letting her rest on his chest. "Babe, you gotta talk to me."

Well Scott was right, Lacy had cried to much to the point that she'd gotten herself sick. She was laying on the floor, near the toilet. She had stopped crying but she was still shaking. She saw Punk walk in and looked at him before ducking her head, hiding her face from him.
