Baby Shower

"I am so excited to have contractions for hours on end." She said dryly.

"Hopefully time goes by fast."

Nine hours.

Nine hours later, and Lacy was still pregnant. Very pregnant, but her contractions were getting worse and worse. "I'm gonna die," she said breathlessly rubbing at her stomach. "I'm gonna die with twins."

"You're not going to die." he said as he ran a hand over his face. "Where the hell are the doctors?"

"I don't know Phil, if I did I would have had them slice me the fuck open already," she snapped.

"Yeah...gonna go find them." he said as he left the room to find the doctor.

Lacy nodded as he went off.

A couple minutes later, the doctor came in with Punk.

"Hey Lacy, we're going to see how dilated you are to determine if you can start pushing." she said as they started to check her.

"I'm dilated, lets go!" Lacy snapped, still holding her stomach.

The doctor did agree with her on that. "More than ready. Okay, let's do this."

The nurses started to prepare Lacy for delivery.

"Alright Dad, you might want to hold her hand." the nurse said to Phil.

Punk nodded and held her hand, kissing her forehead. "Let's get these babies out."

Lacy started to push when the doctor told her to, and when nothing was happening, she had to stop. One particularly annoying nurse had kept telling Lacy to eat the ice chips she had since she couldn't have anything to drink. Finally, she had enough and threw the cup aside. "YOU eat the ice chips!"

He wanted to laugh so bad, the nurse looked scared for her life. "Baby, just try to relax a bit."

"I can't," she groaned. "God Phil, this hurts so fucking bad."

"I can't imagine the pain you're going through right now, but if you try really hard and get them out, you won't be in pain."

"After birth," one of the nurses reminded them 'helpfully.'

Lacy let out a small growl. "Get her out here."

"Just focus on the pushing, ignore everything else." Punk said.

"Ready to try again Lacy?"

"No." She shook her head and fell back.

"We have to get them out." the doctor said.

Lacy sat up and started to push again, squeezing Phil's hand.

It was official. Punk's hand was broken....well not really, close enough. He held her hand though and encouraged her as she pushed.

"Here comes baby one..." The doctor said. "One more push..." A baby began to cry, and the doctor announced, "It's a girl!"

Lacy fell back in exhaustion, trying to catch her breath.

Punk looked over at his new daughter and then kissed Lacy. "She looks just like you." he said.

"I... am still... pregnant," she panted as she watched them clean their daughter off.
