Hanging Out (Shannon/Mimi)

Mimi had just gotten in from the gym and went into Shannon's house, closing the door quietly behind her. She'd been staying at his house for the moment and didn't want to disturb him by slamming the door if he was asleep or working or something. "Shannon?" She called out through the house as she set her bag down. She tried not to be too loud, but hopefully he heard her.

Shannon was messing with some stuff downstairs and was making his way back upstairs when he heard Mimi. "Oh hey, you're back." he said. "Good workout?" he asked as he shut his basement door.

"Some old guy kept staring at me." She laughed a little. "But other than that it was good."

He chuckled a bit. "People creeping on my lady, not nice." he said as he went up to her and greeted her with a kiss.

She chuckled, returning his kiss. "That is the last time I go to that gym."

"Or I'll just go with you next time."

"That works, too." She giggled. "I'm all gross, let me go shower."

He laughed a bit. "Go right ahead."

She kissed him again and went upstairs to his...their..his? room to take a shower. Sighing happily to herself as she went into the bathroom to shower, she thought about Shannon. He was really her first boyfriend. She had some other flings, but usually the guy got so frustrated with her being so shy that things just ended up not working out. Shannon, though... he had been so patient with her, and told her that he actually liked the fact that she was shy. No one had ever told that before. She still had her reservations, but she eventually found herself just being relaxed around Shannon, not worrying about what she said or how she looked because she knew that he wouldn't judge her. She really cared about him. Well, actually...

They'd been together for a little over a year, and they hadn't said the 'L' word yet. Mimi did more than just cared about him, but she loved him. But, she probably wouldn't be the one to say it first. She knew Shannon cared about her too, but did he love her? She didn't know. But she wasn't going to pressure him into telling her. She'd go with the flow, and for now, just remain content with where she was.

Shannon watched as she went upstairs....then did whatever else it is that he does, lol. He really liked having Mimi around and was used to it. She was different from other girls he dated, which he loved about her. He didn't want those types anymore. He wanted well....Mimi. Anyway, he figured he would cook something up while she was taking her shower.

Mimi got out of the shower a little later and changed into a pair of leggings and a t-shirt. She smelled food cooking so she went downstairs while putting her hair in a bun. "Smells good down here."

"Because I'm not actually burning the food." he joked.

"Like last time?" She teased.

"Hey, that was an accident." he laughed.

"Here I was, looking forward to a nice home cooked meal, and you just ruined it." She teased him gently.

"Yeah yeah, tease me." he chuckled. "Thank god take out was thought of."

"Don't burn that too." She teased him with a giggle.

"Woman." he chuckled. "Always teasing me."

"Its fun to do," Mimi joked, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Mhm, you always seem to get a kick out of it." he said as he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck.

"Shannon..." she giggled a little when he kissed her neck, squirming a little.

"What?" he chuckled.

"You're going to burn the food." She laughed.

"I am not." he chuckled as he checked on it.

"Mhm, sure." She chuckled and went to go grab plates for them.
