We're at it again

Lacy laughed and tapped the lip that was pouting out gently with her finger. "Stop that. And I was excited, it just seemed like you were ready to buy Allison a car or something," she teased him.

"Maybe like...a bike or something." he chuckled. "I think I was just excited because I was there and watched as she actually walked towards me."

"You're such a softy, Punk." She teased him as she nuzzled his neck playfully.

"Only with you guys." he said as he wrapped his arms around her and placing a kiss on her neck. "Don't tell anybody now, I've got a reputation to keep."

"I will tell everyone." She joked.

A Year Ago

"C'mon Brandon, bath time." Lacy picked Brandon up out of his playpen and carried him up the stairs, leaving Punk and Allison in the living room.

Allison was sitting on the floor, looking up at Punk on the couch and babbling talking to him as she also played with her blocks. She knew a few words, so she would throw a few of those in, too.

Punk was laying on the couch, watching some tv. When Allison talked to him, he made sure to pay attention, letting her know that he was interested in whatever it was she was telling him. "Oh cool Ally." he nodded as she spoke.

"Uh huh." Ally giggled, just happy he was paying attention to her. She put her blocks down and pushed herself up to her feet. "Dada!" she called for his attention with a laugh, before falling on her butt.

Punk sat up on the couch and chuckled a bit. He knew that they had been trying to get Ally to walk and she was having difficulty....and it usually was like that. Her standing up and then falling. "So close Ally."

She licked her top lip before making the effort to stand again, this time managing not to fall after being up for a few seconds. Then she took one wobbly step. And then another. Before long, she had walked on shaky legs all the way to the couch before her legs gave out on her and she fell again with a giggle.

Punk well...he was shocked. "Ally, good job." he grinned as he picked her up and kissed her cheek as he held her tight. "Lacy!"

Ally giggled and hugged him around the neck. "Dada!"

Lacy came downstairs with Brandon wrapped up in a towel, looking downstairs confused. Nothing looked to be wrong... "What?"

"She walked."

"She did? Aw, good job baby." Lacy smiled at Ally. "Anything else?" She looked at Punk, who looked like he was about to have a cow. lol

"....yes. She walked." he said. "How are you not excited?"

"I am excited." She laughed a little. "She was gonna walk eventually."

"But...it was great."

"I have a naked two year old in my arms and I'm gonna give him a bath." Lacy laughed a little and went back upstairs.

Ally looked after her. "Mama?"

"...Mama is mean." he said, then looked at Ally. "You walked though and it was walking to me. I'm so proud of you." he said as he kissed her cheek.

Allison laughed and accepted the kiss on the cheek. "Dada." She grinned and placed her hand over her heart as her way of saying she loved him.

He smiled. "I love you too kiddo."

She smiled and hugged him around the neck.

"Softy." She teased him again.

"Whatever." he laughed. "Sue me."

"Now when I do, I will remember the time that you told me to." She laughed a little. "I think that was when they weren't trying to kill each other or push each other out into the freezing cold."

"They always come up with the strangest things."

"I always say they have your temper." She chuckled.
