"Yeah, I put them down not too long after your match ended." She nodded. "It's late so they'll probably sleep in."

/Few months earlier/

"Brandon, please go to sleep." Lacy sighed as she stood by his bed. She got Allison to sleep, but Brandon always refused to sleep. "For mommy?"

"I not sleepy." Brandon shook his head, looking very tired. "So I won't sleep."

"Yes, you will." Lacy chuckled and laid him down gently. The truth was she was a little tired too and wanted to get a little nap in before they both woke up. "If you won't sleep then just stare at a wall or something." She kissed his cheek and went out, making sure to leave a crack in the door.

She went back downstairs and started to clean up the mess that Brandon and Allison had made with their toys, not hearing the door open.

Punk was supposed to come home in two days, but was able to come home earlier. He caught the first flight out to Chicago and decided he would surprise Lacy and the kids. He made it home and then unlocked the front door and stepped inside quietly, shutting the door behind him. He put his bags down and spotted Lacy, so he went over to her. "Lacy."

She jumped, dropped one of the toys and turned around quickly, seeing Phil right in front of her. "Oh God..." She placed a hand on her chest and laughed a little. "Don't do that."

Punk was amused and laughed a bit. "Sorry." he said as he went by her. "Didn't mean to scare you that bad."

"You obviously did not succeed." She chuckled a little. "Wait... why are you home so early? Is something wrong? Are you injured?"

"No and no." he chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her. "They sent me home earlier."

"...oh." She laughed a little and placed her hands on his shoulders. "Well, welcome home."
