Damn this guy. The instructor refrained from rolling his eyes. "Sorry man, standard procedure. She's so small and light that she can topple the ski over if she's not careful. And seeing as how it's her first time, I just want to be safe and add a bit more weight up here," he lied smoothly.

"Yeah," he said absently, placing his hand on top of Lacy's on the handle bars. "Now twist this one lightly to get going." Lacy did that and the instructor smiled, patting her thigh and leaving his hand there. "Alright, let's get going."

"Let's go." The instructor patted her thigh and put an arm around her waist, to "steady" her.

Lacy went and moved forward.

Lacy frowned a little before going up and down the lake, laughing with the instructor. He'd actually ended up scooting closer behind her and kept his hand on top of hers. It was almost as if he were riding -her-.

The instructor let Lacy go for a little while longer, though it was longer than he let Phil, before hr reluctantly asked her to go back to the shore. She did so and he rubbed her thigh gently before patting it again. "You did great."

This time, Lacy noticed and shifted a little to move his hand. "Thanks, it was fun." she grinned.
