Now what? [AJ/Ellie]

He nodded. "I see...uhh...do you want me to leave?"

"Where would you go?"

"Home I guess..."

"Oh. Well I know it was a long drive so you could stay, you don't have to leave."

"You sure you even want me here? I'm not gonna make you have a lousy time."

"Seriously it's fine. Lauren's not here, so looks like no drama."

He nodded, looking down at the floor. "Think we could talk since we have some time alone?"

"Sure." she nodded.

they sat down on the couch and Allen decided to start. "I'm so sorry..."

She sighed. "It's not just you. Lauren was starting crap with me too and that sent me overboard. I understand that she's your friend and all that, but just...finding out that you went to see her when you were supposed to be doing other things, really made me...well pissed."

"I had all intentions of running errands, or going to the gym...but then I'd run into her, we'd start talking, and then I'd lose track of time." he explained. "I know it's a piss poor excuse, but..." he shrugged.

She nodded. "Yeah...I get it.'' she nodded.

"But you have every right to be angry with me...I'm surprised you haven't filed for divorce papers yet...unless they're on the way to the house." he said, rubbing his hands over his face.

"Yeah well, I was thinking about it..." she said. "...something told me not to do it though."

"Oh? What was that?" he asked curiously.

"Well I mean...Madison for one. I would hate to have her go back and forth between homes and all that." she shrugged. "Plus you know...I love you way too much for that, even if I was very mad at you."

He couldn't help but smile a little. "You still love me?"

"I may be super pissed at you and leave you to think about everything, but that doesn't mean I don't love you anymore."

He nodded. "So...how much longer am I gonna be punished?"

"Well that depends...do you think you need to keep being punished? Not gonna lie, I know these past three months have been hard on you, but they've also been hard on me too. If you're going to keep hanging around with Lauren, I don't want to be near her or vice versa."

He nodded. "I understand. I promise that I will no longer lie to you and I will hang out with Lauren one more time to talk to her...you're my wife. You are more important to me than Lauren. I love you Ellie...I don't want to lose you and if it means losing a friend, then so be it. You and Madison are always gonna be worth it."

"I know." she said. "I don't want you to stop being friends with her because of me. I understand you have been friends since you were younger and all that, so don't do that. It's going to make me sound like a bitch. Just from now on, if you're going to hang out with her or be late coming home, let me know." she told him. "Talk to me first."

He nodded. "I promise...and you come first..." he told her.

She nodded and gave him a small smile. "Okay good." she said, then bit her lip. "Allen?"

"Hm?" he asked, smiling back at her.
