"I think Maddie loves me more than the both of yous combined." Lacy chuckled at Ellie and Phil.

"Oh I knew that since the minute she stepped on my troops."

"Still with that? It happened a long time ago." she chuckled.

"You should have seen his face, though." Lacy laughed, remembering it.

"Oh geez...it hurt." he chuckled.

"And you lived to tell the tale. And the kid promised to be nice to you, so there." She chuckled.

"Tell her to be nice to my troops too."

"She doesn't know what troops are."

"Just tell her." he chuckled.

"You tell her." She laughed.

"Fine.' he said as he looked at Madison. "Madison, no stepping on the troops." he said as she blinked and just looked at him. "See? We came to an understanding." he joked.

"You're insane."

"Riiight." She chuckled. "I pick my men good, don't I Ellie."

"Yeah you sure do." she chuckled.

"Patronizing me." She chuckled. "You guys hungry?"

"Not really." she said. "Maddie ate before we got here."

"I'm hungry." Phil said.

"I'll go look in the kitchen to see what we've got, then." She got up and went into the kitchen.

"Thanks dear." he chuckled.

"Oh geez."

Lacy chuckled and looked through the refrigerator and cabinets. "Uhhh... chicken from the other night, stuff for sandwiches, some candy, and a protein shake." She laughed. "We're healthy," she joked.

"We really are." he chuckled. "Um...sandwich I guess."

"What do you want on it?"

"Surprise me." he said with a shrug.

"Nice."

She shook her head and made him a turkey sandwich before putting the stuff up in the fridge and bringing it to him. "And you'd better like it, too." She joked.

"What if I don't? You going to spank me?" he asked with a wink.

"Perv, there are little ears." Ellie said covering Madison's ears while she chuckled.
