Meeting His Mom [Punk/Lacy]

Lacy smiles lightly and follows them inside.

Mary shut the door and followed them as well.

"Want anything to drink or eat? I know it must have been a long drive."

"Yeah, I'm starving." Phil replied.

"I wasn't talking to you." she informed him as he pouted.

Lacy chuckles at her banter. "I'm fine, thank you."

"You sure? Nothing? Not even water?"

"I'm sure." Lacy smiles. "Thank you, though."

"I'll get you one anyway." Mary grins as she steps out of the room and gets her water.

Phil looks over at Lacy.

"She does that, just say yes or she'll give it to you anyway."

"Noted." Lacy bit her lip.

"Are you still freaking out?" he asked.

"Yup."

"Why? She's nice. Obviously, she likes you more than me." he pouted like a child.

"Well I like you." Lacy laughs.

He grins.

"I would hope you do more than like me. I mean, I feel strongly for you. Perhaps, I love you. I don't know." he shrugged playfully.

"I might love you, too." She plays along. "Haven't decided yet."

He nods.

"Cool cool, well when you know, make sure to pass on the message to me." he chuckled as he heard his mom coming back to the room.

She smirksd and smiles at his mother as she walks back in with her water. "Thank you." She accepts it.

"You're welcome." she smiled then looked at Phil.

"Here." she said dryly and shoved a water bottle into his chest.

"The love. Where has it gone?" Phil chuckled.

Mary shook her head with a small laugh.

"Alright, come and sit in the living room." she told them as she lead the way.

They follow her into the living room. "This is a nice house you have, Mary," Lacy observes.

"Thank you Lacy. It's hard to keep up at times, but I manage."

"So how long have you two been together?" she asked Lacy.

"Um." Lacy thinks, scratching the back of her neck. "About a month. We've known each other forever, though."

Phil nods, agreeing with Lacy.

"That's good then. I think I remember Phil mentioning you in the past, you were the main subject at times."

Phil looks at his mom in embarrassment.

"I never did." he lied.

Lacy looks at him with a smirk. "Was I?"

Phil shrugged.

"Perhaps."

"Oh trying to be smooth now?" She smiles.

"Just...hush." he chuckled, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Aw don't be shy." Lacy giggles.
