Meeting His Mom [Punk/Lacy]

Phil was driving down the street to where his old childhood home was, this time, he wasn't alone. Lacy was going with him to meet his mom. She had met her once or twice in the past when his mom came to some shows, but now that she was his girlfriend, it was different.

"So you ready?"

"Not really." she chuckles. "Shes gonna hate me."

"Oh nonsense, she won't hate you."

"Strongly dislike?"

"How about love?" he chuckled.

"We'll see."

"I'm telling you, you'll be fine."

"Like I said, we'll see."

Phil shakes his head in amusement as he parks in front of the car.

"Here we are." he said as he looked over at the house.

"Nice house."

"It's alright." he said as he turned off the car and stepped out, then opened Lacy's door for her.

She steps out of the car, giving him a short laugh. "Its fine."

He closed the door and they started walking to his front door.

"It was quite boring though. Living here I mean."

"Im sure it wasn't." She grabs his hand slightly nervous.

"It was." he chuckles and squeezes Lacy's hand lightly as he sensed her nervousness.

"You'll live. Relax." he chuckled again.

"I hope."

"I'll give my mom a GTS if I have to." he joked.

"Something tells me you guys have an awesome relationship." She chuckled as they reached the door.

"The best." he laughed as he rang the doorbell.

She bites her lip nervously waiting for his mom to answer the door.

Phil looks over at Lacy and cups her face in his hands, kissing her softly.

"Everything will be okay."

She returns the kiss and smiles lightly. "Alright."

Phil's mom opened the door and looked at the two.

"Well..." she said looking over at Phil.

"Hi Mom. Mom, this is Lacy of course and Lacy this is my mom, Mary."

Lacy pulls away from Phil slightly embarassed as she smiles at his mom. "It's nice to meet you, Ms. Brooks."

Mary looks at Lacy and then back at Phil, before looking at Lacy again, eying her.

She shakes her head and scoffs.

"That makes me sound so old. Please, call me Mary." she chuckled, allowing them to step inside.
